My friend and I came here for dinner after walking through Vaughan Mills. We walked in around 9pm and they reminded us that they close at 9:30pm. The food was good. Wish they had Massaman curry on the menu, but the closest one I could compare was the peanut curry. Overall, had a good time but probably wouldn’t go out of my way to return.
Vegetarian options: Variety of different vegetarian options.
Parking: In front of the restaurant.
I looked around hard and long for some authentic thai...then I Truly was amazed to find this treasure. Nestled in a little corner off Rutherford road lay this Truly Thai Cuisine restaurant. It was small and cozy. I ordered the sea food special with the steamed rice ..spicy. It definitely played drum rolls with my palette. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy and the sauce was a mix of sweet and tangy. I poured it all over the rice. Overall a good experience. I will definitely return to try more of the menu !
This is one of my favorite places for lunch. Their lunch menu contains a great selection served with either soup or spring roll for a very decent price (not to mention a generous portion). For under $15 the quality of food here was impressive. The staff is very kind and do not hesitate to cater to your needs. The restaurant is clean and cozy and I believe there is patio seating as well.
Authentic Thai place compared to some places out there. I believe the people who work there are from Thailand. I really live their shrimp roll its deep fried shrimp roll so delicious 5/5 their pad Thai, BBQ beef, pineapple chicken fried rice and some more. The place is small but good cozy dimmed atmosphere with the right lighting ! A place I think you'll enjoy :) I did !Worth trying out a place up near the Vaughan Mills Mall.
My favourite Thai place. Super savoury and juicy. We always go here when we visit Vaughan must try Thai restaurant!
Nothing bad to say about this place. Very quaint little restaurant with great service. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and packed with flavour. I would definitely recommend their papaya salad and for dessert their mango martini. The crab they use for their food also tastes real and not like imitation crab. Would definitely visit again!
We went to Truly Thai Cuisine on a weekday late lunch time and the restaurant was pretty empty when we walked in, so we got a seat right away.We saw the specials outside and wanted to try the Coconut Shrimps (6 pieces for $9.99). The shrimps were smaller than we expected. It was kind of expensive with how much we got, but there was a strong coconut flavour and it was pretty good overall. For drinks we got the Iced Coffee ($4.95) and Mango Smoothies (2 for $10). The drinks were really good, the coffee was very sweet, it had a strong coffee flavour and very creamy. You can definitely tell the smoothies were made with real mango, they were so good.Next we got the Crab Fried Rice ($15.99) which was a bit sweeter than expected for a fried rice but it had a lot of crab so that made it worth it. We also got Pad See Ew with Beef ($15.50) and this dish was really sweet for some reason. We had Pad See Ew from many other Thai places before and it was more savoury. Overall, all the dishes were quite sweet here, so if you like sweet you would love it.This is a small restaurant and the owner was very kind, she made sure we had enough water and checked in on us. We love supporting local businesses!
Perfect name for this restaurant because the food at Truly Thai is authentic and freshly cooked. My favorite dishes are the basil eggplants, pad Thai noodles, vegetable green curry and satay chicken. A must have to finish the meal is mango coconut rice dessert, sooo good! Most of all, the service is excellent...super friendly staff.
Tried this place today and it was just OK. The Pad Thai was maybe a little under seasoned and the noodles were over so it was very sticky/clumpy. Tried the shrimp and veg spring rolls and they were great, very fresh ingredients. I would definitely go back, the staff was very polite and attentive.
Parking: Lots at this location.
Went today for lunch. I ordered the drunken noodles (spicy )with beef. Oh my goodness. Perfect. We also had coconut shrimp and the deep fried banana for dessert. Absolutely delicious. It's a small quaint little restaurant.

Learnt this restaurant serves Thai food in original taste and flavours. So visited on 7/6 today but a small note informed us of its closing upto 8th.So better luck ? next visit.Till then enjoy and experience.
An ok service, food was OK, could be better tasting. Golden Chicken curry was good, just thought there were too many potatoes. Basil Fried Rice was not that great, quite blend. The Pad Thai noodles were OK.
We ended up going here after the original restaurant we wanted to go to was booked up, and we have no regrets. Food tasted great with good sized portions. 3 of us shared a Mango Salad, Fried Rice, and a Low Mein and struggled to finish. Service was ok, not the best but the food was the star and we will be returning!
Excellent hidden mom-and-pop restaurant that serves authentic Thai food with friendly service and traditional Asian decor. The waitress that served us was so friendly and went above-and-beyond to provide excellent customer service. Their green curry is amazing and I would definitely recommend this hidden gem in the heart of the Vaughan Mills shopping plaza.
Got the lo mein made spicy with eggs. There was no egg. Literally got egg crumbles in one spoon that’s it. There was no flavour just the spice I requested. There also wasn’t a lot of veggies and I didn’t get why there was carrots and green beans in my noodles. And the worst part wasn’t even that there was no flavour, the noodles were undercooked …. Would not dine here again. Portion was also very small. Not your typicalAsian place that stuffs their takeout containers
