Today we stopped for the first time at the RedTail winery and we were pleasantly surprised by the number of wines we liked. I am usually a red wine fan, but their red selection wasn't quite to my taste yet. However, both their Meritage and Pinot were worth trying and I think they may win me over time.
Their white and rose selection was above average and excellent, their Chardonnay, Gamay rosé and their Pinot Gris were great and the best we had this summer. Enough for me to leave with a full case of their whites (Pinot Gris, Chardonnay) and Gamay Rosé.
I want to point out that the two gentlemen who helped us with our wine tasting were fantastic. Kudos to them for their engaging approach; they made us feel great and made our experience even better.
Thanks, guys, keep us the good work, you just became our next mandatory winery stop in the Prince Edward County.
*P.S. I know you moved to the new location a few months ago, nice place, can't wait to see some additions that will attract the people for which the patio setup is important.

Must try for your next wine tour. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable, especially Dante! The took the time to get to know what we wanted and made great recommendations. The Chardonnay was so fresh but their Cabernet franc was one of the best reds I’ve ever had.

I just had a great experience at Redtail Vineyards. The Pinot Gris has to be my favourite! I also enjoyed the Riesling and Gamy.
The customer service is amazing. The staff is knowledgeable and welcoming.

We had a fantastic visit to Redtail. It was one of the highlights of our trip to the county this weekend. The staff were friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about their wines. I especially loved the Pinot Gris, and my boyfriend’s favourite was the County Crush Red. One of the staff shared a wonderful story about the artwork on their labels. Great service all around. We also got a peek at some exciting plans and mock-ups for future development of the winery. This place is only going to get better. Definitely worth stopping in for a tasting and a chat. We’ll be back!

After reading the reviews about this well loved place and their great wines, we decided stop in, and we were not disappointed !! The wines we tasted were very enjoyable, and as an added bonus, we even met this Dante, who had much praise in the reviews. Dante, knowledgeable and laid back, made my wife and I feel right at home. He definitely deserves all praise he received on the reviews. Dante, thanks for the ice cream place suggestion, we all enjoyed as well.
We bought a few bottles and look forward to heading back to try the white wine that was not ready to bottle yet !
