If the nutrition added up I could live on a burger, fry and shake dinner.
I don’t eat fast food burgers, only independent spots that serve up a solid burger unique to them.
So I cruise Superburger and Champ Burger in the area.
A friend recommended the Burger Station east of Cookstown, so I headed over from Alliston.
I have to say, they have it down pretty darn well.
I had the Union Station Burger combo, fries and a shake.
The burger was excellent, I love the side of mayonnaise with the fries, which were quite good, and a solid chocolate milkshake.
The staff are very friendly and helpful as well.
Lots of seating and some cool train station art around the restaurant.
I’ll be back!

Had a Gyro combo with fries and my wife a cheese burger combo with onion rings.
The burger tasted like raw meat and had no seasoning. The Gyro was mid.
The sides: the fries were decent but the onion rings were soaked in oil.
Would I recommend ? No. For $47 (tip included) I rather go to Mcdonalds or any other fast food joint.

Visited the Burger Station for the first time with my family. Overall the food and service were good. Their milkshakes are tasty and just the right consistency that it’s effortless to drink through a straw. Their chicken souvlaki on a bun is just ok. Could have used a bit more seasoning and searing on the chicken and more tzatziki sauce. I would visit again if I’m in the area.

I was charged for a bottle of pop rather than a can. They were unable to refund me the different and I ended up spending 20$ on a burger and drink. Very disappointing as the chicken burger was gross. I will not be returning.

Just discovered this place on a stop in Cookstown.... so good! The staff were so friendly and efficient, and the burgers were amazing! We will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

I wouldn't say I'm the ultimate burger taster/reviewer, but after having the train wreck, any other burgers I have from here on in will be a massive failure.

I've enjoyed fast food burgers, froo froo bistro burgers from men in man buns, exotic burgers made of moose and bison. I've destroyed burgers as big as my ample head. I've paid over $30 for a "naturally sourced" hamburger "experience.“

My wife and I went up to the counter and I said I'd like the train wreck, the first thin out of the cashier's mouth was," you must be hungry" That was when I knew I was in for a treat.

Although a massive burger, it wasn't relying on the cheese, bacon and condiments to give the flavor. The patties were wonderfully seasoned. A true pleasure.

If my cholesterol returns back to normal, I'll be back. I've been wanting to come here for a few years and now I'm glad I've met my hero.

Great place to stop after a visit to Murphy's Farm with the kids. Burgers were fresh and tasty. Staff was really friendly and the food came out super fast. You also get free drink refills.

Kid-friendliness: They have a solid kids menu.

The burgers were not bad, fries were very good, but the fountain drinks had a very high sulphur content and tasted and smelled like rotten eggs. The meal was also veryexpensive

I went here the other day and I was very impressed! I got the small poutine (it was not at all small), a chocolate milkshake, and the person I was with had a cheese burger. The poutine is very good and is a very large serving so I was unable to finish it. There wasn't a single fry without gravy and at least a little cheese on it which was impressive! The chocolate milkshake was very good but not very chocolatey at all, it tasted more like vanilla. The person I was with said their cheeseburger was very good and from what I saw of it, it looked very good and packed with toppings. Overall, the Burger station was great. I'd definitely recommend coming here especially if you have kids because there is a very big menu with tons of things.

Dietary restrictions: They have glutan free buns. They also seem high quality.

Kid-friendliness: It looks like there is lots if kid friendly options on the menu!
