They should throw some big stones in the ditch to make it easier for the truck driver such as myself to cross the ditch, from the roadside to the restaurant, 5 or 6 big stones in there would make it easier to cross over and make it more of a convenience.

“I ordered through SkiptheDishes at around 8pm. They accepted my order and stated it was "being prepared" had a rough time frame of 41 minutes... an hour passed and still nothing. I reached out to Skip and got no real answer so I tried to call the restaurant directly. Called several times, no answer. 2 hours later and I decided to just go pick up the very large order.. to my surprise, all the lights were off and no one inside. I waited OVER 2 HOURS. They accepted my order and didn't fulfill it. Waste of time, waste of money. I now have to wait 5-10 business days to get the money back. This place is ridiculous, why take my order? Never ever ordering from here ever again and I'll be sure to let everyone else know of this experience”

The Cookstown Subway is always such a great experience. It’s run by a mother, father, and sometimes their son — and you can really feel that family touch. The customer service is amazing. They always remember my orders & is polite and kind, it really makes every visit welcoming. Honestly a true breath of fresh air every time I come in.”

Generous portions, food is fresh, service is excellent, staff is very friendly and attentive, the place is clean and uncluttered. They have a lot of variety on the menu and specials, reasonably priced. I recommend Sushi Hero, it certainly is worth a visit.”

“Visited for the 1st time on Saturday! They had a live band which had me dancing! We ordered fish tacos and enmoladas for our main course which were absolutely delicious and came out really quick even with the 3 large parties they had. All the staff and our server were super friendly as well 😊 I tried 3 different cocktails which were all made perfectly and we stayed for dessert which we don’t normally have but the atmosphere was excellent and we were having a great time! Would highly recommend for a date night and will definitely be back soon!”

“I need to recognize one of your servers for going above and beyond the call of duty. I took my 91 year old mother for lunch at Kelsey’s. Mom has mobility issues and is very unsteady on her feet. As we walked through the door, we were greeted by Sam. I asked Sam if she would mind getting my Mom to a table while I went out to park my van. Sam, to my surprise, took my mother’s hand and politely escorted her to a table.

In my humble opinion, Sam has a wonderful heart. Listening to her talk to the other patrons, you can tell she is honestly listening to them and she shows a genuine interest in people.

I have worked in customer service for 45 years, and, I can honestly say that I have only met a handful of servers who go the extra mile like Sam did. What a wonderful person!!”
