“Amazing food and very kind service!”

“Such a wonderful hidden gem. We had stuffed our faces full of ice cream next door but luckily had room for fries. If you don't, make room. These were INCREDIBLE. Hot, fresh, super crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside and they have an assortment of decorations for toppings. The menu is also extensive and very creative. They have hot dogs as well as poutine and so much more.
The staff is also incredible. Super friendly and kind and welcoming. Can't wait to go back. Make sure you come hungry. We were able to eat our very delicious food under the canopy of old maple trees surrounding us on picnic tables.
Also, they are super clean as we witnessed staff cleaning the tables.”

“I've been coming to this Tim Hortons for a year. Early mornings, arriving there every morning around 530am. And everyday I received by friendly and attentive staff. So much so that friendships started to blossom. The whole staff is always ready to great me with a smile and a quick chat. No matter the weather or the line up. It really makes my mornings a lot easier and even incomplete if I dont make that daily stop. A huge shout out to Olivia and Derek and everyone else working the early morning shift. As a restaurant owner and chef, I can definitely say that your staff are what people will remember and have them choose your location over other. Especially, in the case of Tim Hortons. You can get a coffee and bagel anywhere. But your staff is what brings people back. Keep it up guys! Refreshing to see there are still Tim Hortons' out there that run the same way I remember growing up.”

“I recently went to Kelseys on Bayfield Street and had the Beef Tenderloin & Creamy Blue Cheese Pasta and it was delicious! I can't wait to get back and have it again. I hope it becomes a permanent item on the menu and not just a limited time entree.”

“I went to Made in Mexico to celebrate the birthday of my great-niece. I had the birria tacos and really enjoyed them. The food is great, of course (I actually ordered another helping of birria tacos to bring home for a friend and shrimp tacos for tomorrow's lunch - if they last that long). However, what put this place over the top for me was the staff. Ozz in particular was outstanding. He let me practise my rusty Spanish with him and when it was time to sing to the birthday girl, he sang louder and more joyfully than everyone. He danced with her and she was all smiles. What a great atmosphere - sorry about the noise; we can be a loud family.”

“We just moved into the area and ventured out on a walk with our kiddos to try some of the local shops and found Jake’s Bakes. Wow!! We loved everything about our first visit. Jake is so lovely and kind, and really hit it off with our kiddos. The lemonades were so refreshing and yummy. And the BAKED GOODS — don’t even get me started because they’re delicious — every single one that we tried! We have decided that we’re going to frequent Jake’s Bakes for a coffee and a baked good as a weekend treat whenever we can!”

The cheese buns and onion buns are a must. definitely a 5 star. would give 10 if I could, probably much higher. There is nothing there that will disappoint especially the baked goods. I can never go there without picking up the pizza bun to take to my son. He loves them as much now as when he was a child.”

“We have been a patron since 2004. This is the best Indian food restaurant in the region. Yar and Noor are the experts in the art of Indian food cooking with many years of experience and they are so friendly to all the customers. The service is great and we love the many variety of dishes. No other restaurants can compare to the unique taste of Tara cuisine. Young and old would love this place that has an upgraded decor. Try it out and see for yourself.”

“Fils cafe has been around forever and I'm glad! Their cooking is great and service is amazing. They often hand out cookies or sweets to their customers. The walls are full of things they have collected over the years but don't let that discourage you.”

“September 16 our party of 5 visited Bacio Trattoria for the first time. What a delight! The menu is authentic and elegant Italian. The service was attentive but not over bearing. We enjoyed a complimentary Lemoncello with the Chef/owner for the perfect end to a great evening and dinner. We'll be back!”

“1-Follow up on reservations for my party by the restaurant hours ahead-and seating location was as requested.Notified we had two for service that day -Catt /Makayla .2-Informed both-we were catching up our once a month chit/chat and they informed us of the menus - etc —choices were made on our part with both of them checking on our various selections and keeping things flowing all the time.-questions of changing salad dressings with our selections-just one of the changes after that a few more but never gave the suggestion to us that it was any problem.-Several times we were asked how are things going-was there any thing we did not have or do we wish to change anything that was just not what we thought we were Ordering from the menus. We said no and they said enjoy your time .We did and again we left knowing that is a place in Barrie you might wanted to add to seek and find list of where to eat in Barrie,Ontario soon.”

“The best jerk chicken I’ve ever had. Best of Barrie for sure and coming from Toronto I’d say he’s got them beat down there too. You won’t be disappointed. Been coming here for over 2 years and if anyone ever asks me restaurant recommendations this is the ONLY spot I recommend. Can’t beat the lunch special!”

“I purchased chicken soup on a number of occasions for my Grandson who's 23 months. He calls the food yummy. I have eaten other food on the menu, and each time we have enjoyed it. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. This restaurant hasn't been open very long, but you should at least visit once, as you won't regret it. Some food like festival is made to order, which just goes to prove how on the ball these people are. We know that there is more than one shop. We visited Carib Dish at St. Clair Avenue West.”
