Came in today for a cake for my son. Was met with a very angry worker who seemed to have no love for her job.
She was very rough with the cake- the proceeded to tell me after writing my sons name that there was no was to write my sons name nicley. She scribbled the writing and told me it wasn't going to look nice.
Very short and very rude. Terrible customer service.
She proceeded to scrape off my sons name after insulting it- and left the top off the cake full of redd rubbed off icing. She then rolled her eyes and put the cake at the cash full of redd rubbed off icing. The lady at the cash was nice enough to atleast clean the top of the cake a little bit for me.
Smudged cake with no writing because the writing lady couldn't be bothered to be nice or write on the cake. Or atleast give it an honest try.
I still walked out and said thank you to the cashier without complaints but I will say I won't ever be returning and this is a terrible experience if your looking for a decent experience for your celebration cakes I wouldn't go here.
Picture is after the cashier tried to clean it up. I didn't even have to ask her- she seen it and immediately tried to clean it without me asking her; where as the other lady was just going to make me pay for a botched cake.

We've ordered a few cakes from here, as well as going in for special treats, and cannot say enough good things. The shop always smells amazing and the creations are as tasty as they are beautiful. The staff are always very friendly and helpful.

Great service and delicious cake! It’s the only cake icing that I genuinely like and the pricing is excellent. We have had these cakes a few times at family birthdays and they are always a hit(no leftovers). Thank you so much!

Went for fresh bread and pastries to find that the bread was 3 days old and the pastries were even worse. Tried a few mini filled tarts and the pastry was almost mushy, the other larger pastries I bought were stale. Kind of expected more from a bakery.

I paid for a cake .About four months ago I have the transaction from my bank and emails we were sending them. Our date ended up being cancelled, so we told them we'll call them next time we needed a cake and not to make it this time.It was already paid for we did not ask for refund. They said that's fine not a problem. Call when we needed one. Someone made a post a few weeks later, stating that they could not afford to buy their child a cake so I called cakes and more to make the cake for that child that i've already paid for. When we called back they had no recollection of what happened when we explained to them they said the owner wasn't in so we ended up having to have to get a cake from somewhere else for that child as i already promised them a cake and didnt want to let them down....
They said that in the next couple days when the owner was back they would give me a call. It's been over a month and I still haven't received a call. Really bad service. Not organized. Would never recommend this bakery to anyone.

Employee was throwing buns around and upset because I asked for a sub very unprofessional. First time here and will ever go back very bad experience and very unprofessional .they didn't let me talk to the manager as I requested.

Customer service was really bad, the second time I went in and the worker was rude and unapproachable she had a tone when asking about a cake. Both times I had went in I had this experience and made me feel uncomfortable. The owner or manager need to have a talk with there co workers about customer service. I get that your company is busy and staff is overwhelmed but this is not okay. Something needs to change, im not happy about this and will be last time I get another cake here!!!

I brought a box of mixed items for the cake topper and left them the creative freedom for our daughters barbie/farm cake. It was a huge hit ! So cute, my daughter loved it !
We use Cakes and More multiple times a year for custom birthday cakes and same-day baked goods. They knock it out of the park every time! Thanks again.

Best bakery in Cornwall, On! Highly recommend! The bakery is always clean and well organized, staff are welcoming, friendly, and always willing to help you pick out the best cake for your event. They also offer other baked goods like cupcakes, sandwiches, breads, macarons, and lots of other sweets. I've ordered from them many times and other than some small mis-communications, I've never been disappointed. Recently ordered a Snoopy cake for my mom's Birthday and it was crafted beautifully. We all enjoyed it very very much.

Big shout out to the amazing staff of Cakes & More! I walked in super stressed one afternoon since I had forgotten to order the cake for my husband's birthday earlier in the week, and they were able to get a delicious triple chocolate caramel cake ready in a day and a half! We've gotten our son's birthday cakes there for the past two years, and each one has been beautiful and so very tasty. I cannot recommend them enough!
