Stopped in for one and stayed for 4 hours. Tina the bartender was the best. Bar was full with locals that were all friendly and invited us in to their conversations. Will definitely be back.

Wife and I stopped in on a Thursday before noon kinda by accident. Walked in and only two seats open at the bar. We were going to have one and leave to another place for lunch. Ended up staying for 4 and a half hours. Tina, the bartender, was great. Can’t say enough how she made us feel welcome. Very engaging and even cleaned our glasses, on our face. Once the locals felt we weren’t “Normes” they all opened up and had some very interesting conversations. It was a great day distracting us with what was going on in our life at the time. Will be back!

So I thought of giving Daffodil Pub a second chance. My first experience was with my wife on spontaneous “date night”. We walked in and sat down at the bar(just to make it easy on the staff. Little did we know there was none. We waited for 10 minutes and then decided to leave the premises. As we were leaving, the waitress was outside smoking infront of the restaurant. She never acknowledged us as we left or when we were arriving(“hey I’m just finishing my smoke and I’ll be right in”)
On my second try here, I came for a drink and food on a Thursday, and I sat at the bar. Ordered a beer and burger. Never had the “server” check up on us(she was busy on her phone right in front of the guests). Then I saw the most worse thing that just disturbed me!!! She used a guests pint he drank from to refill his beer. I kindly told her now that she had touched the beer spout with his dirty glass; the spout is contaminated with his “germs” and will be shared amongst every other guests…she didn’t have anything to say. She was a lady with little to say apparently

I brought a group of 10 friends to Daffodil Pub and we had a great time. The food was good and the service was great.
food was ok.waitress was friendly, she kept apologizing for the cook. the cook was slow, only a take out order ahead of us....

Service was good, which is their saving grace. The food quality was poor I ordered the salmon benny and the salmon was cold and slimy, the eggs were alright. I would suggest anybody looking for breakfast go to King George up the road instead. Maybe the food is better in the afternoon/evenings.

Has potential to become a community fav, I'm a sucker for patios and good music , it's unfair to judge food in difficult times but their honest it's fresh tastes good I. Happy and will return.
