Do yourself a favour and do not have your wedding reception here. My best friend booked the entire restaurant for her reception and it was a nightmare. Dinner for wedding party was scheduled for 5pm and reception at 7pm. Lots of wine purchased for open bar. Food plates all preordered. The restaurant booked another very large party for the same dinner time as the wedding at the last moment. The bride was notified at 10pm the evening before the wedding. We were not served dinner until well after 7pm when reception was to begin. I personally caught the manager Rose telling reception guests at 7pm to leave and come back later as the bridal party had not eaten, even though there was an open bar ready and waiting for them. When I protested this she told me they did not have enough staff to handle the reception guests even though they knew well ahead of time that this was happening(if they didn’t have enough guests they should not have booked another large party at the last minute as they did) luckily my hubby ran outside to the parking lot to retrieve guests who had been refused entry! After dinner and desert the other party was still not finished their meals as their meals were quite late as well. So the wedding party began clearing plates off of the tables themselves so we could start the already very late reception quicker. I was the appointed person to speak with the manager on all issues to give the bride a break. Every time there was a concern she basically brushed it off and told me to tell the bride to RELAX! Other staff were very well mannered and understanding of the stress caused by all the mistakes and did their very best to make things better. Obviously everyone involved was very disappointed in the management of this event. I would not recommend wasting your money here for anything so important! I will not be back to this restaurant for any reason again. I was absolutely appalled at the treatment of such honoured guests.
My fiancé and I visited Eight Zero Zero last night for the first time. We walked in and loved the atmosphere immediately. Once seated we ordered our drinks, he received his right away, every 5 minutes for 15 minutes someone came by and said mine would be out shortly. I finally asked if I could at least have some water to wash down the bread. We ordered, I ordered the ribeye rather than the strip, because that’s the cut that “I” like even though the ribeye was a larger cut than the strip. 5 minutes after ordering our waitress came back to the table to double check which steak I ordered…when I reminded her that I had ordered the ribeye to which she very quickly replied “oh, that’s what I had written down but the ladies don’t normally order such a large cut of steak so I just wanted to double check that I was correct” WHAT?!?! WHO SAYS THAT??? HOW RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL! I was floored to say the least as was my fiancé and the tab next to us. From there, I never received my salad and our appetizer was delivered to the table next to us. Thank goodness that the food was delicious (I ate my whole steak and then ordered dessert too?) because the service was absolutely horrific. I gave a 3 for an average, food was a 5 and the service was a 0.
Very underwhelming. Pizza was dry, steaks were very fatty. Service was great though!
Party of four. It was a quiet evening, mid week, so staff was very attentive and accommodating to our various food requirements. Meals were excellent! Would recommend to others looking for a nice evening out.
All of meals were terrifically prepared & presented. We very much enjoyed the evening here.
Went as a couple. Place was empty yet we where seated right by the door. Ordered a filet minion med rare. Came very well done. Wine was way overpriced. Visually it’s a decent atmosphere but I wouldn’t be returning
Fantastic place to dine. Steak was cooked to perfection. Serve was very pleasant. Will definitely go back
Parking: No problems with parking
I had the chicken parmesan which had a very thin softly breaded cutlet And not a trace of parmesan.. The quality was not great whatsoever. Was very disappointed considering the price. Unfortunately I don't think I would return again.
Short staffed, but our waiter, Corey was great and the food was delicious! Jumbo shrimp cocktail and pizza on the patio.
From the moment we entered the restaurant, the atmosphere was bright and friendly. We were greeted and seated immediately. Service was top-notch. Beverages were delightful (and served very quickly), and our meals were outstanding! Our dinner started out with a complimentary loaf of fresh, steaming-hot bread with a side of herbed balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Our dinners included the outstanding Steak Sandwich of tender, thinly sliced and stacked steak, finely shredded lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions, mushrooms all oozing with mozzarella and the perfect addition of a creamy horseradish sauce piled onto a brioche bun. This was served with traditional, yet very yummy fries. Our second entree option was the Chicken Sonoma. This place knocked it out of the park! It was a perfectly prepared boneless chicken breast with a top-coated layer of sun-dried tomato cream sauce served with roasted potatoes and a lovely selection of fresh veggies. Presentation of our meals was very nice, portions large (as we could barely eat everything on our plates), and timeliness in delivery was nicely done. Service staff were very pleasant, friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about the menu and beverages. An overall enjoyable and delicious experience. ***we did make reservations (recommended), too full to try any dessert offerings, restrooms clean, and plenty of parking. ***

My husband I went with a reservation and it was not busy. We were sat and ordered immediately. We had to ask for beer refills and when our meals arrived 1 hour and 20 minute after the appertizer, it came after 25 minutesOur meals arrived and my meal was not correct. They took it back (not even the protein I ordered) by the time my meal was corrected my husband had eaten most of his (only half as the pasta was stringy and starchy.) We were not check on while he was eating until my meal arrived and we had to ask for another beer. Not once was there I am sorry until we asked for the bill. We knew it was a dining experience so figured a couple of hours......... I was presented with the bill after 20 minutes of asking and was told I discounted you meal for the mix up and eating alone. $4.15 seriously.............
The Ambiance could be a little better for a fine dining restaurant, however the food was cooked to perfection. Seafood is so easy to over cook yet ours was perfect. And compared to Toronto the price was very reasonable.
Waiting time at the table for waitress was really long. I wanted to order drink and some extra stuff but there was not enough staff. Food was ok..
We really enjoyed our evening celebrating our wedding anniversary. Our waitress (Mirni) was exceptional and also was bilingual. The food was great my filet mignon was cooked perfectly and so was the ribeye. Our waitress came to tell us that it would be a little longer as our steaks had been cooked to much so they cooked some others to our liking. I appreciated the fact they were honest about it. Cannot finish my review without talking about the desert The crème brûlée to die for. I do not mind spending a little more when the food and service is great. Will be back for sure.
Excellent as always, friendly service and the food was served promptly and cooked properly. Crème brûler is always fantastic!
