Other than one serving of spaghetti and runny meat sauce, all the food we’ve had here has been very good. Butter chicken comes with warm naan and my wife loves it (we always order rice with it). I generally like their meat sauce a lot and often order the Italian poutine. Prices are fair and service is usually prompt and kind. We’ve dined in, had takeout, and delivery multiple times. There was only one instance where delivery took longer than anticipated (new driver perhaps?). They also accept card everywhere including on delivery (sometimes a rarity for family restaurants in Cornwall). Decor is more than a bit dated but when the food, prices, and service are good, who cares. When we dine-in, it’s usually quiet. And kudos for hosting free Christmas meals these past few years!

First got into curry here back in the day. Since then I've had Indian in several major cities all over the world, and this little restaurant still competes. One of the best eggplant bhartas.
Good breakfast
It is not an exaggeration to say that this was some of the best Indian food I have ever eaten. The rice and curries were perfectly seasoned, and the vegetables were tender.
We were a party of 6, with each person ordering a different meal. Everyone's meals were nicely plated, looked appetizing, and tasted even better. The extensive menu means there's something for everyone, from the picky to the adventurous.
And then there's the service! I didn't happen to catch our server's name, but she was attentive, fast, and knowledgeable about the menu.
Lastly, I would be remiss to not mention the decor. Holy Christmas! Everywhere you looked, there were bows and snow globes and candy candles and Santas. Add to that the classic Christmas music that was playing, and you could feel the holiday spirit from the second you opened the door.
I cannot recommend this place enough!

I love, love, love coming to the Family Corner Restaurant!
I am a senior citizen who doesn't always want to prepare meals so, guess what...this is my place to go for delicious meals.
The servings are plentiful, the price is right and, the girls give the best service.
The decor is wonderful and the atmosphere is lively and happy.
If you love good Indian food, as I do then, this is the place for you.
They are located on the corner of Ninth Street (not Second Street as I originally mentioned) and Pitt. Lots of free parking available, too.
My home delivery orders are always on time and hot, when they arrive.
A big shout out to all the Servers...THANKS FOR MAKING ME FEEL SO WELCOMED.❤

I have been eating there since 2005. I go for their Indian style (Pakistanese) food which is delicious! My husband enjoys their Canadian cuisine.

Although I admit I was a little skeptical when I walked in, felt like a country diner and I was going to order Indian food. My girlfriend told me her friend said it was really good so here we were. The food was a strong 9/10, honestly one of the better butter chickens I've had. I asked for a badgee onion which they didnt have, but the owner overheard me and brought us a complimentary order of their take on the badgee onion which was made in a very similar fashion but without the onion, it had other veg instead, I wish I remember the name of it. At the end of our meal, the owner (an older indian gentleman) came over and spoke with us for a few minutes asking how our experience was, how was the food, are we local and all of that. Super nice guy, amazing cook, waitress was very pleasant. Honestly, the only thing I think I can say is that there are a LOT of choices on the menu from indian to italian to greek.. maybe a lot but I guess they have something for everyone. I havent tried the other stuff but the indian food was really really good, I had the butter chicken this time and I can't wait to go back to try something different! Highly recommend - good food and even better people!
