Nice place but asked for medium rare steak with char outside and came without even grill marks drinks were never refilled or even offered overall won't revisit

I sent my friends for a special evening
3 old friends that celebrate their friendship once a year for 20 years already
What a disappointment
They show up for a 6h30 reservation
And they are on the resto list
But they gave their table to someone else my friends were their on time
They offer them the basement with school tables and no windows
I am soooo upset to have recommend your resto to them

We were a bit disappointed by this restaurant. The breakfast that came with our hotel room was very good a pleasant surprise and we were able to eat our breakfast on the patio with our dog. However the dinner we had the night we arrived was very disappointing. My husband’s chicken was tough, I ordered salmon with mashed potatoes and I received it with fries. The waitress realized the mistake and asked if I still wanted the mashed potatoes. Which I did, the mashed potatoes that she brought were lumpy and old whereas the potatoes my husband got on his dish were silky smooth and fresh. It was like I got day old potatoes reheated in the microwave. The. Fries were so much better. The salmon itself was perfectly cooked. The drinks were awful. I had an old fashioned (which was watery and no flavour) my husband got a blue margarita ( tasty really salty and wasn’t made with oasis rather than fresh lime) they need a real bartender (waitresses make their own drinks). Stick with wine or beer. On a side note there fish tacos and fish and chips at other tables looked appetizing.

We had the Fish and Chips and the Chicken Bacon Wrap from the lunch menu. The food was excellent and the plates were overflowing with fries. This is hidden inside a Best Western so we were a little weary but decided to go for it. Heather our waitress was attentive pleasant and gave good advice. I would not hesitate to eat here again if I was in the area

Great service and food

Tracie was an amazing waitress. Was there on New Year’s Eve for lunch . Had haddock tacos ,they were amazing. My friend had Philly steak sandwich and said it was very tasty. We had a baked Brie as a starter that was delicious and berry cheesecake for dessert. It was so good we came back New Years morning for their brunch. We loved so happy with everything we ate the great service and festive atmosphere. Thanks to Tracie and everyone involved with both excellent meals.

Great place to eat. Never disappointed with whatever we order. The lemon pepper chicken wings are excellent! Friendly service with a smile, and always accommodating. The Christmas trees and decor make for a magical nostalgic atmosphere.

Well we all had a great experience and lovely dinner Saturday. We met there for our family reunion dinner and it was perfect. We were on our way home from our honeymoon in PEI on Thanksgiving day and really wanted a traditional turkey dinner. Hops and Barley had it on their menu and it was delicious! The butternut squash soup was exceptional and the turkey, the gravy, the potatoes, the stuffing and the the pumpkin pie were equally delicious. The lady serving us was also exceptional. She was professional, friendly, kind and funny. Thank you to her for a great experience and conversation. And a big thank you to the lady who sat us in a spot so that we could keep an eye on our vehicle which had our pups in it! All around a great experience. Highly recommended.
