This 3/5 rating is for the whole experience unfortunately. Food is a very solid 9/10. Service is a horrible 2/10. Place was not even half full but service was beyond slow and inattentive. Saturday noon lunch for 2 ppl took 2 hours. 2 drinks + 2 app + 2 mains = 105$ with tax (very decent for the delicious food). Also tips suggestions are automatic at 18%, 20%, 25%... they dont even deserve 10%.

Schnitzel's is always our go-to date spot for my husband and I. The food is fantastic, the service always great. Trevor was our sever and he was top notch! I ordered the Canadian pizza and my hubby had the Buffalo chicken pizza along with the soup of the day (broccoli cheddar). It was delicious! Thanks again for the great food and evening! We will be back.

I would highly recommend Schnitzels to anyone looking for a nice place to dine. Especially if you looking for a great european experience. However I found their Spätzle to be more like Knopfli... Which is the same dish, just slighly different forms. Reminded me of my late Grandmothers cooking (Swiss-German). 10 out of 10. Would try again.

Had the Goulash... it was very bland and only barely warm. Was described as having spatzel... well i believe there was 10 small pieces of spatzel, in fact, there was more dill pickle than spatzel Others had schnitzel and it looked good. They were very happy. Wish I had stuck to the schnitzel as well. I would remove this dish from the menu

Oh how I've missed good German food. Lovely ambiance, comfy booths. Drinks menu is full of great options, go for the root beer if you need your daily dose of sugar! Appetizer we got deep fried pickles and a Caesar salad, pickles were breaded with dill and it was crunchy perfection. Salad had a really good dressing and fresh bacon.
I got the German platter, eyes bigger than my stomach. Massive portion, I ate barely half of everything and still have a ton leftover. Except the spatzle, not a piece left behind! My mom got a good portion for the regular plate, and we still brought a chunk home!

Best potato salad I’ve ever had. Had the chicken schnitzel with a side of the jager sauce, and just amazing. Solid, solid food. But for real, star of the show? Potato salad. And Trevor, our server, made the experience amazing. Would come back if I’m ever in this part of Ontario again.

The food was wonderful with the portion size being very generous. We had the calamari to start and it was the right thing to snack on while we waited for our main to come. We got the stuffed chicken schnitzel, the German plate and the margarita pizza. The German plate although expensive was well worth the price. The pork schnitzel and the Oktoberfest sausage was very good and fills you right up. The pizza was light and yet the size was similar to a large so it is plenty for one person. The sauce was also a great combination to the pizza. The stuffed chicken was tasty and it went very well the mash potato on the side. The chicken was juicy and the outer layer was crispy and cooked to perfection. The service was prompt and great and the atmosphere was friendly and cozy. Will definitely come again
