3 pizzas and the pasta pescatore were ordered - pizzas had slight adjustments made to the options listed on the menu and these were done as requested. Pasta was very tasty although the only difference between the pasta and the calamari was the toughness - the taste was the same. Service was excellent. Only negative was that there is a charge of $1 if you want parmesan on the pasta - not the $1 it's the principle.
Service was ok, not outstanding. Maybe it’s the times but doesn’t anyone ask if you want water or refill coffee? My food was outstanding.Crean of broccoli soup, mmmmm. A chicken schnitzel wrap, sooo good and for dessert hot donuts with chocolate, caramel and whop cream. My lunch partner had a pizza, she wasn’t impressed. A black edge (burnt) and toppings not really hot. She had apple strudel for dessert and the apples were not cooked enough but the flavours were bang on....
We did a quick road trip from Montreal City exploring the area and we came to this restaurant for dinner. The food was good, portions are great, beer is good and the service was amazing. There was a waitress which was so kind, smiley and helpful that made our time there so enjoyable. We will definitely come back if we are around.
