reservation made on their site was not on sheet when we arrived. apps were not very good and the lobster toast app probably worst I've ever had. had 4 of the same drink never served the same. steak was only thing on point whole night 5 out of 10 generously
This place isn’t worth the parking space . They disrespected me by presenting an opened bottle of wine the likes of which was not ordered . We left forthwith. I will never again give this establishment my patronage . A 59th wedding anniversary ruined August 6th 2024 .

50th birthday party flop. I chose this restaurant so my guests had the option of high end meals and also decently priced burgers. I got there to find out the chef decided not to serve burgers on Sundays anymore. Now all my guests had to over pay for ok food. As a cook myself, I was excited for the burgers so needless to say my big birthday event went south real quick.
Thanks for nothing. Oh, the server said we would get 15% off for the inconvenience which then turned into the tax off cause they didn't know how to honor the 15%. Price is too high and portions are too big. We even had to ask for forks to eat our meal.
I won't return to try the burgers.

My mum drove in from out of town to try the burgers at this place. When she arrived, she was advised that they only do burgers on Wednesdays ( she had emailed and asked for menu prior to driving in and was sent the burger menu ). When she questioned the menu that she was sent , the male server said “ it’s no skin off my back if you don’t eat here “.
Are you kidding me ? That’s probably the most unprofessional, disgusting service I have ever heard of. When she told us the story - our JAWS DROPPED.
What a poor representation of your establishment.

Very unhappy with the slow service from waitress. After serving our btl of wine she ignored us for an hour. The hostess had to find her. We were then rushed into ordering our appetizers at the same time as our meal because she told us she was very busy. Three hours of being there felt tiresome so we did not order coffee or desert. We just wanted to get out!! The bad service, unwelcoming, ruined the pleasure.
PS = The food was good.

I’ve been in town for work for a few days and sadly leave tomorrow having only realized tonight how close I was to such an outstanding restaurant. I called ahead to request a takeout order and was so thankful that I was easily accommodated. I’m just an old bum in jeans, a T-shirt, and sandals but Ashley greeted me at the door by name and took excellent care of me. Elon was friendly and welcoming and I enjoyed the ambiance during the short time I was there.
The food though…
I’ve been to culinary school. I love to travel. I’ve eaten a lot of incredible food. First, the steak and frites. What can I say? The steak was grilled perfectly. So good. I have to say, the risotto balls were the best I’ve ever had, claiming the top spot from a little Italian eatery in Washington DC. The Truffle Mac and cheese was rich and creamy and the pasta was just the way I like it. Also the best I’ve ever had, knocking chef Michael Smith’s personally prepared mac and cheese out of the top spot.
I’m admittedly a food snob but, tonight, I am full, happy, and content and will tell those who I worked with in Cornwall that they must eat here regularly. I hope to return soon and visit Chef, Ashley, and Elon again. This time for a dine-in experience though!
Honestly, a delight. Well done.

In an upscale restaurant I would expect a larger variety of premium vodkas, Kettle One or Belvedeer.
The martinis are one the skimpy side and very pricey for the amount!

Disappointing.Service was decent. Steak undercooked and smothered in gravy that was not included on menu. TRUFFLE mac and cheese was a joke and was macaroni in cheese whiz with broiled motza on top. Cocktails were decent. Not worth $150 for 2 people splitting an appetizer 2 steaks 2 cocktails and no dessert.
Vegetarian options: Only one choice on Wednesday ( burger night) beyond meat burger.

Having recently just moved to Cornwall from Toronto we were really looking forward to eating at Tauro, especially as a number of locals all recommend it. We had a 6:30pm reservation and arrived 10mins early. No hostess so we waited over 5mins before anyone acknowledged us and eventually showed us to our table. It was busy but by no means full. We waited over 30 mins, no waiter, no water, no service, yet other patrons who arrived after us got water, drinks etc. After 45mins we got up and walked out. The service was atrocious. Save your money and go to Casa Paolo’s where they appreciate your business and work hard for it.

Had an awesome diner it was perfection! I had a rib steak and my boyfriend had the dill salmon 😋 all was perfect! The deep fried risotto is a must have as recommended by Rachel! Our server Dave was great too! All in all it was a 10/10!
First time dining here with my daughter. A pre theatre meal. What a treat! Fine dining and then some! Exceptional food and service in a restaurant with great ambience. Beautiful and tasteful and a great atmosphere. Cannot wait to go back. Portions were very impressive and cannot fault anything at all. Would recommend this place without a doubt!

Embarking on a culinary pilgrimage from Montreal to Cornwall, I discovered Tauro Steakhouse, a gem that exceeded all expectations. This journey, driven by the allure of unique dining, led me to Chef Ahmad's domain, where passion meets plate. The chef crafted a special meal that became the highlight of my visit; each bite was a revelation, a testament to the chef's mastery and creativity. Accompanying this culinary marvel was the Purple Reign cocktail, a concoction that danced on the palate, perfectly balancing spice and sweetness with a hint of ginger. Tauro isn't just a restaurant; it's a destination for those in search of gastronomic delight. Chef Ahmad and his team elevate dining to an art form, making every meal a memorable experience. Whether you're a local or a traveler like myself, Tauro Steakhouse in Cornwall is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates the finer tastes in life.Leaving Montreal for Cornwall, I discovered Tauro Steakhouse, a gem that exceeded all my expectations.
