I had made a reservation a week prior to Valentine’s Day to which 2 days later I receive a call saying they can’t do the time I reserved and offered me a time 2 hours later. Once arriving 5 minutes early I was told they would not have a table for my girlfriend and I for some time. 15 minutes later we were offered a spot at the bar to which I declined because I didn’t make a reservation a week prior to be sat at the bar 15 minutes after my scheduled reservation another 15 minutes go by and we get a table. Most of the food was really good but my steak was cold by the time it reached me and by the end of it my bill was $390 to have to wait 30 minutes to be seated after my scheduled reservation which had already been previously changed on me then to also have my steak come out cold. I feel taken advantage of. They also don’t offer anything in compensation not even a free drink for messing up reservations.

We had our wedding at Tauro, and it was an amazing experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the food was delicious with something for everyone, and the service was exceptional. It was the perfect place to celebrate such an important day, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice!

I’ve been going to tauro for years and it’s always been a favourite of mine. From the moment you walk in, the staff make you feel welcome and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.
On my most recent visit, everything was just as amazing as always — actually even better. The restaurant looked beautiful and the service was so friendly. I ordered NY strip loin and rissoto balls and it was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and full of flavour. Even the little touches, like how quickly we were seated and how attentive the staff were, really stood out.
I truly appreciate how consistent they are with their quality and service. It’s so nice to have a place you can always count on for a great meal. If you’ve never been, or haven’t been in a while, I highly recommend giving tauro a visit — you won’t be disappointed!
We came here for our anniversary and had a great time. The calamari was outstanding—perfectly cooked, with a fresh pico-style mix on the side, and served with an aioli that was to die for. Hands down one of the best I’ve ever had.
For the main course, we had the surf and turf. The lobster tail was good, but the filet mignon stole the show—tender, juicy, and melt-in-your-mouth amazing.
Service was excellent, though I wish we’d had a bit more privacy with the seating. Still, a memorable night overall. Don’t miss the calamari and filet mignon!

Loved our experience and food, we got the calamaries and the bone marrow and beef tartar and both were delicious. The ceasar salad i liked less, as it wasnt made from scratch, store bought croutons and bought dressing as well, so not a hit for us but the rest was delicious! Highly recommend 👌
