The Jerk chicken came in a generous portion of three pieces with a lot of rice, four crispy slices of fried plantain and one whole, boiled and seasoned to perfection, as well as a lovely, sweet festival roll and a fresh homemade coleslaw with sliced cucumbers on the side. Somehow they made it all fit on the plate and each flavour was as succulent as the last and combined beautifully. I will be coming back soon to try the oxtail.

The jerk chicken is the foulest and driest inedible meal I have encountered in a Jamaican restaurant ever. Seems google reviews are not worth the screen they are displayed on. So, if you are reading this, know this: you earned y6our pain if you went ahead and spent money here. Appalling.

The Spicy Pearl is my favorite restaurant! They have the best food, amazing portion sizes and always super tasty. Yada makes the best Pad Thai in all of Cornwall and S.D&G (I have tried every Thai restaurant and no one compares). You also have not truly experienced good food until you try the Ox Tails, just wow! Not to mention, the environment is super welcoming and Roger and Yada never fail to put a smile on your face. This restaurant deserves 5 stars across the board.

If you haven't tried The Spicy Pearl, I highly reccomended giving it a shot. They have both a carribean and thai menu! Good healthy food, that tastes amazing, and you can feel the love and passion put into it. For those who are big eaters, the portion sizes are quite filling, affordable, and made with quality ingredients. I absolutely love jerk chicken and I havent had anyone make it better than Roger.
