I cannot review the food but I can of the service. I took my daughter for lunch here for her birthday and one couple were present. We waited ten minutes to be served but the waiter only appeared twice from the back to say "one minute". Sorry but the service was terrible and I had to go back to work so we never ate. I wish u could review the food as I heard good things. Sorry but we won't be returning.

Google shows the place as open and it clearly said closed at the door. Has happened twice. And there's no proper directions to the restaurant or the parking, also the parking seems to be paid.Edit- the phone number doesn't work as well.

Excellent food, great atmosphere. The service was a little slow, but worth the wait. The place could use better signs, first to show where they are (a bit hidden, on the side of the courtyard) and show they are “open” (almost walked away, it looked closed, but tugged at the door to find it open!). Definitively would go again next time I’m in Cornwall.
