First time trying Thum’s. The restaurant was pretty quiet when I walked in ( 4 tables occupied) due to dinner service just starting. I was waiting to be seated and no one came. I saw a staff member come up from the basement - look at me waiting and then continue on. I was going to walk out as it was pushing 5 minutes without even a one second or hello but decided I’ll just walk to the bar to get take out instead because I really wanted to try. I walked up and asked to order take away. A woman behind the bar explained the different dishes - I ordered and waited. I went downstairs to use the washroom - it was not the cleanest. I got the food and left. The chicken satay was very good. It was flavourful and juicy. The wraps however weren’t my favourite . I think there was mint or some kind of leafy spice that I didn’t enjoy. Overall it was pretty good but not sure I’d return with the service I experienced.

We were driving through cornwall and decided to stop here. We were blown away by how good it was, i recommend getting the combo meal because you can try lots of things. The waitress was amazing, the food was flavorful and great portions. The prices was right too, will definitely come back here next time I am in cornwall

It was my first time coming here. The service was outstanding, they were so kind and fast from when we ordered. The food came out hot and fresh. It was the best pad Thai I have had. I highly recommend this place. The satay Gai is to die for with the peanut sauce!!!!

We ordered 13 lunches for our team, including pad Thai, fried rice l, red & green curries, and spring rolls. Every single person (13/13) loved the food! The flavors were amazing, and everyone was thrilled with the quality. We’ll definitely be ordering again - highly recommended!

We stopped at Thum’s Kitchen in Cornwall on our way from Montreal, and honestly, it was such a great find. It’s just a quick detour off the 401, but totally worth it. This is a true family-run spot with authentic Thai food
We started with spring rolls and satay, both super fresh and full of flavour. For mains we had pad thai, tod gra-tiam prik thai, and kao pad — all delicious, and each meal came with a surprisingly rich, flavourful hot soup. Portion sizes were perfect, and everything tasted freshly made.
Service was fast and friendly; even with the stop, it barely added any time to our drive.
Overall, amazing food, great people, quick service — we’ll definitely be stopping here again!

Great traditional Thai. All our dishes turned out so well. Perfectly spiced and flavours were well balanced. Texture of vegetables were perfect too. Would highly recommend. Well took the food home so can’t really comment on service or atmosphere.
