I’m leaving a 1-star review due to a frustrating experience at one of these five Tim Hortons locations. I was told by staff that the owner instructed them not to remove the egg from my breakfast sandwich if I wanted to take advantage of the "2 classic breakfast sandwiches for $6" deal. It’s baffling—removing the egg would save both me and the store money.
I don’t like the taste of the egg, and being forced to include it feels unreasonable. Other locations seem more accommodating and customer-focused. This rigid policy reflects poorly on management, and it’s no surprise that Tim Hortons’ quality and customer satisfaction have declined over the years.
A simple solution: add a sausage-only option to the deal. This would streamline employees' tasks, save resources, and keep customers happy. Isn't that what good management is about?
To clarify, the staff were friendly and helpful—they’re just following misguided instructions from management. My criticism is solely directed at the owner.
Lastly, the copy-paste response to negative reviews isn’t helpful. It comes off as insincere. Take this feedback seriously—customer experiences like mine should matter to you.

I have been using this location. It's probably my favorite one in the city, but the reason I'm on here is to complain about how their rewards machine is broken every other day. Sometimes I go there in the morning. Grab a coffee they scan my rewards. I go there a few hours later and their rewards machine is broken. This happens to me probably 5 to 10 times a week. As far as i'm concerned, you guys owe me multiple free coffees. I let it slide the first couple of dozen times, but this is absolutely getting ridiculous now. We're over a year, and they're still having issues with this.
