They kept the name, Casa Hugo, of the awesome Mexican restaurant that used to be here (to use the former restaurant's good reviews?), but it's gone now and in its place is this super generic, cafeteria style "sports bar" with a limited and lacklustre menu. It certainly isn't Mexican any longer - it's just beach grub like burgers, chicken fingers, fries, etc. To say the ambiance is uninspiring is putting it mildly. Not a great place- choose one of the nicer places along the strip.
Under new ownership this year!! it’s like a cafeteria- you order at the bar from menu displayed on screen. They give you a buzzer and then you come and get your own food. There are no plates and you use plastic cutlery. There is zero service for drinks or food at your table. The food has changed significantly from previous owners and everything was overcooked or soggy. Very disappointing. The best part was the band playing- they were amazing!!
