We were warmly greeted at the boat dock by the owner, who helped us dock and made us feel incredibly welcome right from the start. He catered to me and my friends throughout our visit and took the time to chat with us during the meal, making us feel right at home. The staff was also super friendly and welcoming. The food was amazing—thank you for such a great experience! We’ll definitely be coming back.

Such a special place! I was driving through from Texas to visit friends in Ontario en route to Montreal and saw this adorable spot on the water. I was desperate for a cup of coffee and something quality to eat after too much road food. Little did I know the owner is Canadian with over a century of family roots here-but learned to smoke meat in Texas! Everything was great but the brisket is outstanding. The staff was warm and welcoming, made me an excellent latte and I decided to order a few things with my family. We had all the meats and sides- pulled pork, smoked chicken, Cole slaw, beans, potato salad with PEI potato’s, Mac and cheese…..The smoked potato loaded with everything you could ever want… My only regret is not staying in the area longer to come back for more! Perhaps another year….. by boat?

If you’re craving meat cooked to perfection this is the place! The people who work here are so nice and they really care about educating you about the meat options.
The brisket was out of this world! We order the sample platter and it fed our family of three!

The food was fantastic!! The best Barbque we’ve had in years. We chased brisket all over the U.S. in our travels, and this is the BEST north of South Carolina!

Amazeballs!! Was busy but I got my food asap. They were super welcoming and friendly. Drive thru option, boat launch option, outside dining. Lots of parking. Easy in, easy out. Beautiful scenery, they even have a fire pit to chill at. My new fav spot. Everything we ordered was mmmm mmm mmmm 😋

Finally a place in Algoma region that's doing a decent breakfast burrito!

Available in both pulled pork and brisket. I preferred the brisket, but you'll be happy with either option. A1 toast on the tortilla as well!

If you're in the Desbarats area @ 10am, do yourself a favor and start your day with a couple of these.

The brisket was delicious, enjoyed the coleslaw and potato salad and the Texas Twinkie as well.

We stopped in today on our way back to the Sault and grabbed a Texas Tator to bring home with us. Absolutely amazing and delicious!! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable as well. I highly recommend this place and we will be back! 😋

Food, as the kids say, was: “ bussin on gosh fr fr” 10/10 get the brisket.

One of my favourite go to! I love this place. I have had a variety of food there ...all delicious. My favourite is the Texas Twinkies and Brisket Sandwich!!!!! Amazing taste Service is awesome, food tastes amazing! Great asset to the area!

So delicious, when you need a great meal, it's definitely worth stopping. Had the brisket sandwich, bake beans with brisket, and a Texas Twinkie.

I had the #11 it was 1/2 pound of smoked brisket and I got the second meat a 1/2 pound of smoked pulled pork and picked my two sides as brisket beans and Mac & cheese all was great.
