My friend & I visited The O'Connor House English Tea Room this past Saturday for a luncheon, & we absolutely loved our meal that was served to us, and we enjoyed the atmosphere, and all of the gorgeous antiques and their beautiful antique furniture. My friend & I both had their quiche, which had goats cheese in it, which was absolutely delicious, as I love goats cheese. The quiche came with a delicious side salad, which included spring mix, cranberries, mandarins, peacans. The only improvement that could be made is if they served a little bun with some butter with the meal. I also had their soup of the day, which was carrot with cream, which was homemade and delicious 😋

The food is fresh and just like you'd expect from a quality English tea room. If you're a group call ahead as it's very popular. Also it closes early. The sticky toffee pudding is to die for.

Visited for an early Mother’s Day afternoon tea. The entire experience was lovely, and I would recommend for any kind of visit, we were surrounded by groups of friends and families in the tea room.

There were many types of tea on offer.
My husband had the Ploughman’s Lunch while I had the afternoon tea complete with tiny sandwiches. The food was fresh and at the end my meal was followed up by a beautiful and extremely yummy scone with strawberries, cream and preserves which was perfect for sharing!

Was 1 hr and 20 min for drinks and sandwiches, service was rather slow with only 2 staff for the entire place. The food was good but definitely not a 5 star. I doubt we will back as there are many other options closer to home.

Took my Granddaughter there for her birthday - they not only made the experience wonderful for the two of us but made sure they catered to her for her birthday. Wonderful staff and food is beyond delicious.

Exactly what you'd expect, if you want a fancy afternoon tea with a girlfriend. Danity sandwiches arrive on a three tiered dish. Tea is served in medium sized pots for each person. Proper china cups to drink from. There is a wonderful atmosphere here surrounded with antiques and collectables on the walls. It is like stepping back to another time. Service is not fast but relaxed, so you have lots of time to chat. The second course was top notch, sweet scones with cream and strawberry preserves. Definitely, worth it if you want to treat yourself. Bathrooms are clean. Free parking on the street.
