Was excited to visit this place. The decor was awesome and I loved the antique shop attached to it. Every surface was decorated in memorabilia and collectibles and tea accoutrement. Unfortunately I was sorely disappointed by the food and fare. Despite being a Tea Room (says so in the name!) they did not have a tea menu. Instead, they just had a pile of tea boxes on a sideboard that you could find in any old grocery store. You don’t go to an English tea room just to have red...
We came across this lovely lunch venue by accident and had such a great experience here. It's a busy and well known place, beautifully decorated and absolutely fantastic food, so well prepared and presented and well priced. We loved the decor with its collection of period China, its collection of royal family pictures, and memorabilia.
