Great cheap food but rice wasnt fully cooked
Local place..no eat-in with average Chinese food.
WOW!!! Was so surprised to get such great Chinese in little Dorchester!! The Gen. Tso’s chicken and Pork in Garlic sauce were so delicious. I have lived in NYC, Lon UK and Hong Kong. This place rivaled many of my favorite locals. And the portions were HUGE. I was so surprised by my experience since some of the other reviews were so negative. I can’t understand because I am already looking forward to my next order - after I finally finish my leftovers…..

Peking Gourmet is a restaurant that consistently delivers fast, friendly service and great food. Customers have tried various dishes on the menu, including the "sweet and sour" red chicken sauce, which some find tastes more like cherries than a traditional sweet and sour sauce. The Sesame Chicken and Beef Pad Thai are also popular menu items, with the chicken being well-sauced and the noodles being very good. The Vegetable Spring Rolls surprised some with the inclusion of shrimp, but this didn't bother them. Despite it being a hectic New Year's Eve, the staff remained friendly and accommodating. While the food may not be the absolute best Chinese food out there, it is still delicious, with generous portions and fantastic prices. The restaurant is also kid-friendly, with the option for children to pick up orders, and has ample parking available.
