The chicken curry was fantastic, I love that they use bone in chicken not just chicken breast. Creates a more rich sauce. 10/10 will be coming back. Only down side it there are a lot of stairs.“

“We were in the mood for some Indian food and decided to try this place as we had never heard of it before. We tried the lentil soup, butter chicken and the chicken tikka masala, along with the chicken samosas and garlic chili naan. The food was absolutely stellar! Probably the best lentil soup and tikka masala I’ve ever had. Service was very kind and friendly. Only thing I would say needs improvement is the atmosphere in their modest dine-in space. They only just opened a dine-in area recently (they were predominantly a takeaway) so I’d cut them a bit of slack. There’s a tv on the wall but it was off. No music. It was so quiet we could hear other people chewing across the room. Play some music, and offer ice for the lukewarm water, and this place would be 5 stars. Give them a try!“

“Everything about this place is amazing. The people who work here, the cooks, the atmosphere (when indoor dining is allowed), and of course the food. The waitress who works here, I don’t know her name, but she is absolutely amazing. She is just THE sweetest person you’ll ever meet. She restores my faith in humanity everytime I come here. The food is always incredible, always tasty, fresh and full of flavour. There’s a handful of vegan options, the onion bhajis are my absolute favourite and I have the utmost faith and trust in Prince Of India when it comes to the knowledge of food restrictions, they ask how spicy you want your dish (mild, medium or spicy) and they really do give great sized portions. You even get a discount on your meal when you dine in, which is such a nice bonus. I recommend Prince Of India to everyone I talk to, quite literally. If you’re looking for authentic food, and even further, authentic people, this is the place.“

Naan are to die for. Bestest naan in the town. So soft, so tasty 😋. Words can’t do justice you have to try it on your own.

Clean and good environment.
Prices are premium as their quality so no issues as long as keep getting this quality.

My only disappointment is with their main course dishes which can be improved (taste wise) they are good but not as good as their other items are. I have been to this restaurant several times and have tried almost all of their vegetarian (main course) dishes ( i had high expectations as their all items were super duper flavourful).
Everything else is great and still this is my go to restaurant in hamilton.

Oh yea! Don’t forget to try their sizzling hot brownie with ice cream.“

“edit thank you for your thoughtful reply. i have amended your review score to reflect that i am genuinely appreciative of your efforts to accommodate my dietary needs. contrary to popular opinion vegans are like anyone else. we dont like wasting the staff's time and if we dont like what they see they will go somewhere else. as someone who has spent hours online trying to find the best plant based curry in hamilton i guarantee that making vegan options more visible online and on your menu more business your way will come.

i must make it clear i was never critical of the staff member taking the order. they were excellent.

“Bombay's Chutney has been my go to indian restaurant for the last seven years. I have never had bad service or a bad meal. My husband adores the hot beef vindaloo. The kids and I always order mild because we don't have a high heat tolerance. Always amazing. I have had some excellent date nights and family meals there over the years. The takeout is also awesome! But we are really looking forward to coming back when indoor/patio dining is allowed. Highly recommend this amazing place. Wonderful staff and owners and absolutely amazing food. All the stars!“

“Our first visit here was beyond amazing!! The food was incredible the owners and staff, very friendly and happy to explain it suggest various dishes, sauces and desserts from the menu. The Butter Chicken and Daal Makhani was incredible. Their Naan bread with some of the best we ever had and was made to order in front of us. We loved the samosas so much we brought 1/2 dozen home. Even though it’s an hour and a half drive for us we can’t wait to go back!!“
