Ate at the Dundas location today for the first time. Worth every penny. Tasty food. Will definitely return.

Hard to enjoy a kale salad with large tough pieces of stem.

I usually love the food at The Burnt Tongue — it’s always fresh and flavourful. That said, my last two orders of the Sesame Ginger Crunch salad were missing the roasted peanuts, which are an important part of the dish.

I understand that $8 is on the higher side for a small salad, but what was more disappointing is that the container wasn’t even filled. I still enjoy the food here, but I hope the portion consistency improves.

Haven’t been here in years and finally dropped by the newer Dundas location. I’ve been craving the Bangkok Fries since my first visit years ago, it was still good but way saltier than I remember! The Peanut&Yam soup was wonderful. I’ll be back, might ditch the fries though :(

Easy going location with a simple yet deeeelicious menu. I went with a friend and we shared lunch and I was so surprised it was only $11 each. Seriously, what a price with an easy at home vibe. I ordered the Cubano and we shared the Dill pickle fries. So good, and I can say, it was yummy like home. Casual, delish, and affordable! Highly recommend. Cheers, Spicy Jan - Tasty Road Trips

Creamy and delicious soups that I ALWAYS have to get whenever I'm in Hamilton!! Such a gem of a place, I think about these soups way too often :)

I’m So disappointed for the third time in a row! Whatever I order and ask them they just give me something else! I asked for kale salad and chicken! And paid for it and no chicken in my salad!! I asked for tomato soup and they gave me turmeric soup! You definitely need to pay more attention to your customers.

Good place to get a burger or anything else they sell. Being part of a party of four we sampled a wide range of their wares.

While I very rarely write reviews, I felt the need to today. Out with my family for Mother’s Day and the girl on cash (on the short side) was impatient and rude . When I asked a question and she answered I did not hear her because she spoke quietly she pointed to the board over her and said the choices are right there. Well if I had my glasses on and could read the board I would not have ask in the first place! She continued with her rushed, rude serve. While we have always enjoyed the food from here, paying for food that come with poor service does not sit well with our family. Truly unfortunate for a small business to have an employee brig it down!

Great soup & sandwich place. Smallish dining hall, centrally located. Nice takeout crowd too.

Food and service were both exceptional.

Nice little spot. Not a lot of seating.
Food was really good though. Had the loaded dill pickle fries, tomatoe tortellini soup.
