Stopped by the Dundas location today for lunch and it was very busy. With it being busy the staff were still so nice. The gentleman at the cash spoke clearly and was very kind. My friend an I dined in and after the rush the manager came over to each table to apologize for the wait and asked how everything was. Everyone at this location was so nice and accommodating. The chicken mulligatawny was my choice of soup and my friend got the cubano with some fries. Great service! Great food! Will definitely be back!! Yummy!

Ordered takeout and unfortunately one component of our order was missing, but I have to give huge credit to their customer service. They were friendly, apologetic, and fixed the issue right away without any hassle. Mistakes happen, and how they’re handled matters—and they handled it really well. The food was delicious and we’ll absolutely order again because of how well they took care of us (and how delish the food is!)

A local gem. Food was fantastic. I ordered the Cubano sandwich . Spouse had the chicken melt sandwich and chili.
Little one had the burger and fries. It was comfort food at its best. Awesome meal altogether. Karen and the team were great.

A small restaurant with serve yourself fare with service at the kitchen side to order and food brought to tables when prepared. Mostly soups and sandwiches. Had an excellent grilled cheese with pesto and tomato soup. Both were delicious. Obviously a popular place as tables were at a premium. Prices are a little high for the food offered but certainly worth it. Try it you'll like it!

I recommend the Locke St location which is excellent. But I just had delivery from either the King W or Dundas one that was brutal. Tortellini soup had like 3 Tortellinis and the burgers had clearly been pre cooked but not reheated tastied like cold grease and the cheese was not even remotely melted and still cold. Anyway the Locke location is awesome but wont do delivery again in case the delivery service goes to another location.
Delish, low key spot with great staff. This was a great spot to stop and get outstanding soup and sandwich combo.

Hard to enjoy a kale salad with large tough pieces of stem.

I usually love the food at The Burnt Tongue — it’s always fresh and flavourful. That said, my last two orders of the Sesame Ginger Crunch salad were missing the roasted peanuts, which are an important part of the dish.
I understand that $8 is on the higher side for a small salad, but what was more disappointing is that the container wasn’t even filled. I still enjoy the food here, but I hope the portion consistency improves.
Haven’t been here in years and finally dropped by the newer Dundas location. I’ve been craving the Bangkok Fries since my first visit years ago, it was still good but way saltier than I remember! The Peanut&Yam soup was wonderful. I’ll be back, might ditch the fries though :(

Easy going location with a simple yet deeeelicious menu. I went with a friend and we shared lunch and I was so surprised it was only $11 each. Seriously, what a price with an easy at home vibe. I ordered the Cubano and we shared the Dill pickle fries. So good, and I can say, it was yummy like home. Casual, delish, and affordable! Highly recommend. Cheers, Spicy Jan - Tasty Road Trips
