This place is a Dundas institution - but sorry, needs a complete overhaul. The food is bottom of the barrel bad. It’s very hole in the wall vibes which is great. It’s not pretentious and not trying to be anything it’s not. But crazy expensive for what you’re getting.

Came with a crew of 6. Ordered poached eggs and tomatoes, while a coworker ordered poached eggs but a full breakfast.
My order came last and over 20mins after my coworker who ordered poached eggs after me.
Just-why couldn’t they poach them at the same time?
Why over 20mins apart?

I come here with my partner fairly regularly. It is comfort food. I really like Danny and his staff. They are so sweet, and I have grown fond of the regulars and the banter with the staff.

Seriously is this a front? I actually kind of like the vibe of the place. It's a little run down but it has character and lots of plants. The food, however, is abysmal. How do you mess up an omelette that bad. They put gigantic vegetable chunks in it like the onion was just cut into quarters. Also off vegetable choices which made me believe they were just throwing in whatever was about to expire. Who puts celery in an omelette. Nobody came with coffee refills and everything felt store bought, the baked goods are like from the packaged bread section at food basics. For such a rich town like Dundas with such a snooty (said lovingly) population and so many great options of brunch (detour, betula!) I'm surprised this stays open

A local breakfast place that I don't frequent enough. Coffee is ok ( wish breakfast places would invest in this part of the as there is nothing nicer then a great cup of coffee to accompany a great breakfast. You have to place your order at the counter but a waitress does bring it to you once the meal is prepared. It was lovely and their home fries are fresh and delish. The order was completed as requested, extra crispy bacon, light and fluffy scrambled eggs and toast. Price is reasonable and coffee refills allowed. It is clean and cosy with nice booths. All in all a good place to stop for a freshly made breakfast and I believe it had been around for a long time, so that says something about food, service and overall experience.

This is the quintessential great spoon with a great selection of breakfast options. I had bacon and eggs with toast and hash browns which left me well fed! They're western sandwich is too die for too! It's cash only, you order at the counter in the back and they bring the food to your table. Great service!

When directly in Dundas, and feel like a nice big, fresh breakfast, we’ll go here. Danny cooks all the food, rices are reasonably priced. The breakfast platter is huge eggs, 4 strips bacon or sausage and home fries, with a side of fruit. Coffee is decent too. They only accept CASH here. No debit or credit cards. Lots of parking in the rear.

Parking: Lots out back.

Pre pay for your food and choose one of the many spacious and comfortable padded booths. Great people watching in Dundas from the big windows. Huge breakfasts. Locally owned. Good
