Very friendly setting in rural Dunrobin area. Once you are in, you feel like you are visiting friends.
We had breakfast including omelets and pancakes. The food was good.
The service was quite slow but the place was quite full.
Recommend reserving before going on a weekend

What a hospitable café! The warm atmosphere give the warm feeling of being at your grandma’s for a Sunday brunch. The friendly owners even took the time to share the rich history of the historic cafe.
The food was delicious with generous portions. They even offer every flavour of hot sauce if desired!

Another cute touch is their pancakes , they are heart-shaped!

Love it here and will make it our go-to every Sunday.

Arrived before 20 minutes closing, owner closed early in front of us just because we were cyclists (group of 5). When we asked just for a drink she flatly said no. Terrible service

Had breakfast here 2 weeks ago. We were 6 of us and we all enjoyed our meals. Their food is delicious. We didnt wait long for our food. They have decaf coffee as well. We will be coming back! Also loved the added positive messages on the sweeteners.

I love this place, it’s locally owned and not part of a chain like so many others, so homey and plus they have heart shaped pancakes! Server was very kind. Gift shop is completely adorable with felt animals and other crafts, really love it!
Lady in gift shop got angry when we came in the door because her dog was disturbed by the door opening but what were we supposed to do? There was no bell or instructions to knock or anything. Really cute little dog but if you are that worried then maybe don’t let him loose in the store while you are open for business? Lovely time and highly recommend going, you won’t be disappointed!

Stopped in on our vacation in Ottowa travelling from BC. Absolutely wonderful breakfast & service, truly top notch. Incredibly generous portions at very reasonable prices. Would highly reccomend for anyone in the area. We will definitely be back during our next visit!

Went for breakfast and the food was sub par, nothing special. It’s a cute building, but the cleanliness was not there. Our table was dirty and the waitress just brushed it off with her hand. I’m concerned to see what goes on behind the scenes. It’s a beloved restaurant by locals, but I personally won’t be returning.

I’ve been going to heart and soul for over 10 years. Nothing compares to the hospitality we receive. The food is incredible, they are so family friendly and kind to my kids. It was my husband and I’s favourite date place and now it’s our families. We would make the trek of over 30 minutes for this place, it’s THAT good.

Drive out of your way to enjoy this gem. Felt so at home I had to remind myself to pay. Ordered the breakfast special at a price I never see anymore, for outstanding quality. Service as friendly as others have said.

A charming little spot to have a generously portioned and very tasty meal in North Kanata on the way to or from Constance Bay. Prices were very reasonable. Our hosts were exceptionally hospitable and accommodating. We will definitely go back. It would be great if the patio was out back versus on the main road. And one small ask…please replace or wash the plastic baskets you use to bring out the cutlery to the outdoor tables…they were beyond dirty. 🫣
