“The food is exceptional. You won't find better Italian food. We shared escargot, I had Cannelloni, my hubby had veal Parmigiano. My sister had filet mignon, my sister-in-law had smelts. The range is impressive. I didn't have room for dessert, in fact I brought some home.It was a birthday celebration, and we were unable to bring in our own sugar free cake (2 bdays, same day, both diabetic) so that's my only regret.Great server. Nick! A wonderful night. We had a party of 8 and unfortunately unless you were in the middle you couldn't communicate with others, it's very loud. We have been there before and will be again. “Went here for the ramzaan buffet, it is a lil expensive compared to other buffets but worth it! The food was delicious with lots of options, the customer service was great as well.They do have a prayer room which is perfect during ramzaan. You do have to make a reservation before hand for the buffet.Only reason it’s a 4/5 stars is because I am not a fan of their takeout combo which we had previously.”

“Definitely an A+ craft beer bar. I miss beer bars. Coming from Rochester, NY they've all disappeared as our local craft beer scene has blown up and people just go direct to breweries. But this place was wonderful by any measure.Great selection of excellent local beers, even a couple of cask options, and if that's not your thing the whiskey wall likely has you covered.The food was also excellent. I had the special, which was a deluxe grilled cheese and tomato soup, one of my favorite comfort food combos. Both parts were fantastic. She had a turkey club and side salad, loved both. And they also own a very good ice cream shop if you want dessert.Also have to give a mention to our bartender, Jada. She was excellent at every level. Could speak knowledgeably about the beer menu, whiskey, and made great recommendations for food. On top of that, was one of the most friendly and welcoming bartenders we've encountered in our very, very extensive beer travels. Asked our names once and then spoke to us like we were friends and regulars the rest of our time there. Almost everyone else that came in she already knew their name and, in some cases, their orders. The kind of bartender that can turn a good experience into a memorable one and makes you want to come back.We will definitely be back next time we're in the area and recommend to anyone else.”

“We had this restaurant on the list for years and tonight we finally enjoyed the sharing plates dinner menu. The foccacia and pomme aligot were to die for, both had elements of traditional and unique. Everything was extremely fresh. We felt like we ate quite a bit and didn't feel stuffed on the way out, excellent quality food for the price. Cardamom cake was light and full flavoured.”

“It was my first time there yesterday and I will def go again. Everyone was very nice and helpful, prices are very reasonable and the food was excellent. I had the Nutella crepe with strawberries and bananas and a vanilla bean latte, my girlfriends had the chicken feta and mixed berries crepes. You order at the counter and they bring your food to the table. Lots of dif coffee options to choose from. They have a decent size patio too!”

“This is the best place in Kanata to get a Donair or poutine. I also like the falafel shawarma but I haven't tried their chicken/beef. I especially love that you can make the Donair garlicky with their shawarma garlic sauce and I always make it spicy too! A fusion Donair yum, it's hard not to want to go get one everyday now!”

“One of my favourite cafés in Ottawa! The food and drinks are amazing and the service is equally as good! There are many unique food and drink choices, from Italian sodas to lattes to teas. I highly recommend the iced matcha latte!The atmosphere is nice and relaxed. They offer free wifi, and this has become one of my favourite study spots.It does get crowded sometimes though but that’s just because of how amazing the drinks are which is why you should definitely give it a try!”

Seems like they get a lot of take out orders too, which is a good sign.The atmosphere inside could be more personalized. The music is a bit loud and it was just recently acquired from an old Irish pub, and the dining area still feels like that without a renovation or more decor.”
