Dragon King Chinese Food

Food is good but Prices have gone way up. And many times they have gotten our order wrong. I am allergic to bell peppers and always say no bell peppers due to an allergy and sure enough there are peppers. They always give us that order free the next time but it is a bit frustrating. They are friendly enough and call when the order is ready which is good on New Year's Eve when there is a long wait. I like the free dish option when paying cash but even those option amounts have increased significantly.

Been coming here for a while great food and service

Ordered from here yesterday and I was very disappointed as the noodles had way too much soy sauce and was too salty. The lemon chicken had no meat, instead it was like I was chewing straw. Definitely won’t be returning.

Ordered a large catering order for our poker game. Foot arrived exactly on time and was delicious!
Highly recommend. It’s a hidden gem.

The owners were nice. Unfortunately the food had absolutely no taste. The rice was bland. The chicken had too much coating that absorbed so much oil. The food was a 2/10 in my opinion.

Ordered food from uber eats for the second time. Both times now the food is hard and cold. Taste is like day old. Waste of money. Couldn’t put review for uber eats so I had to come here.

Pre-ordered our food one hour ahead so we could have it on time. Was totally forgotten about when we went for pick up. We were told it would be right up. We had to wait another 40 minutes to get our meal. There was no apology or any care given. Terrible customer service. I hate that I even have to give it one star.

Ok service but crap food and expensive for crap. I don't mind paying for good food. 30 bucks for crap take out. The black been beef noodles wer like elastic beef and stuck together and overcooked flat rice noodle. The chicken fried rice tasted like nothing. No taste. Why stay open if you're not gonna take any pride in what you serve. Don't go. Absolute letdown in East Gwillimbury.

Surprising good-!
Like not back home good, but hey, for like $20 bucks, for sweet and sour pork and fried rice, it's damn good for the area.

I went there for Sunday lunch time, the place has no sit down, so a take out place

They didn't had the good old sweet and sour pork on the menu, so it's the 'Cantonese spare ribs (boneless)' and I got a fried rice with it.

As soon as I ordered they spoke in mandarine and FIRED UP THE WOK! mannnn the sweet and sour pork is like crispy still when I got it home!
The portion is great! It's like a two person serving if you don't eat large, but one person like FILLING size one person.
Their menu are all in English.. Ironically I can't really read what's on there LOLolol
But would totally go back for a lunch combo is something.

I wished I checked the reviews before ordering from Uber. Food is average Chinese food noting special and certainly not worth the price they are charging. Absolutely ridiculous to charge so much and not match it with quality. For that reason a 2 star. Luckily my food was good enough not to make it straight to the trash as other posts.

My favourite chinese restaurant. I moved away years ago from Holland Landing but I come back here just to have some of their food. The quality is exceptional and has not changed in a decade. The price per amount of food is unmatched and considering the price of everything nowadays, it is a steal. I will continue to come back for years to come!
