While I am an absolute die hard fan of five guys, this location has gone bad so hard and it is likely due to the staffing decisions made by the owner of this location, as they specifically hire one ethnicity as many other business owners in Canada in order to pay staff the absolute minimuym wage.
Last two visits which occured end of November and early Decmeber 2024, both times, I got sick from the food from this location. As soon as you enter the store, you smell disgusting sweat which is clearly coming from the employees who don't shower regularly.
When I came in one of these nights, the staff was cleaning the ducts right above the stove where they make the burgers and you could see all the dirt dripping down on the burgers.
Additionally, staff is just unfriendly and uninterested in customers. The business owners here are getting exactly what they are paying their employees for, which is the absolute minimum. They don't care about how the food is prepared. I think the owner of this location should be absolutely ashamed of themselves, as hiring TFWs to pay them the absolute bare minimum, will result in exactly what you are asking for.
I will no longer be a customer here until, I see some staffing changes being done and the quality of the restaurant approve again. The owners should be ashamed and any normal manager and owner if they were employed would get fired on the spot for this kind of performance.

Worst 5 guys I have ever been to! Burgers are soggy!!! Disappointed as I love 5 guys burgers and fries! It's sad not one canadian worker either!!!

Expensive Burgers! My little burger was only semi warm from their hands to my opening the packaging immediately at their seating…would have liked the burger to be a bit hotter if possible. Dining areas seemed clean enough. It wasn’t busy while I was there. Staff seemed nice and very attentive. Surfaces looked clean but the kitchen cabinets and walls looked a bit dirty. Atmosphere is bright and simple

Those complaining about the price, it's about the same price as Mcdonalds is now in 2024. Great food and service. There was a problem with our order and they remade it and gave a replacement for free.
