Art of Food Catering & Event Creation

What can I say about the AMAZING Selwyn, founder of the Art of Food Catering! For many years, I’ve experienced his fine cuisine and unique takes on Caribbean dishes on various occasions (ie wedding, funerals, community functions)..and each time he knocks it out of the park!! Whenever I’m compelled to ask about the chef, countless times I would see the same familiar face, buzzing about preparing, serving and overseeing his masterpieces.This week, I had the pleasure of celebrating the 85th birthday (..you heard me right!) of the Honorable Jean Augustine, at the Jean Augustine Centre for Young Women’s Empowerment, catered by yours truly. What was seemingly finger food, turned out to be my first ever “Jamaican Jerk Sliders”…Wickedly good!! (And I’m not ashamed to say, I sampled more than my fingers could handle, lol). I finally met whom I will dub a “Kitchen Hero”, for the many Caribbean communities he’s served over the years. Not only does he have a successful business, but his own cookbook too!!Not sure if there’s a chain of food trucks or an upscale downtown restaurant in his future, but Toronto needs more Chef Selwyn!! But whatever his next move is..I’m here for it!! Bless up??

I had a wonderful experience ordering Art and Food catering.I ordered for an annual meeting in the condo building I work in.The food was delivered, quickly, carefully and efficiently. The display looked great, I recommend the sushi boats. Everyone complimented the delicious food and I had the opportunity to try it again. This is our second year ordering with Art of Food and we will be continuing this tradition next year.Thanks to the staff of Art of Food!

I've used this catering company for various events I have run over multiple weeks and have had the best experience! The deliveries are always on time, and all of the staff were beyond accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious - they've never disappointed!! Couldn't recommend this catering company more!

I organize monthly lunches for our team of 10 and I am so glad that I came across Art of Food! Everything is wonderful; from ordering the food, to the delivery and set up, to the price. The portions and quality are good and everyone in the office has had only good things to say about ordering from here and have insisted; most have asked that we make this our regular place to order from. I highly recommend the fajitas for a group lunch, but the kebabs were great too! I think next month we will be trying out their Stuffed Sole and smashed potatoes.

We've used Art of Food numerous times to cater corporate meetings from 16 people to 150, and we are always impressed with the results. The food is always delicious, delivery is always prompt and efficient, and customer service is first-rate. Highly, highly recommend Alex and his team for corporate and event catering. Maple dijon chicken thighs are always a big hit!
