Had the chance to try this European pastry at work today. Someone brought it in from Arto’s Bakery. A Greek bakery in the East York area. It’s a Kanela Stafida. To me the texture is like a cookie, but visually it can pass as a bread stick. It reminds me of Xmas as one can smell hints of cinnamon. It tastes like a mild tasting gingerbread cookie. If you are lucky, you might get one with a raisin in it. It’s good.
Kanela means cinnamon. Stafida means raisin.

Best croissant sandwich I’ve ever had. Their price is soooo affordable. Just discovered this place recently and I’ve been coming here everyday. Their lemon ice tea was refreshing too. Staffs are friendly they gave me a piece of cake to try and it was SO delicious!!

The people that work here are disgusting. Terrible humans. Smell is terrible and they treat you like garbage. Wouldn't recommend your enemy going here.
Best Bakery of all time Especially Harula best owner there and the employees are excellent the food and sweets just perfect i just love the Bakery Arto on top Serrano at the bottom.
