Yaya’s cafe & loukoumades

I was eating across the street when I looked out the window and noticed Yaya’s. I looked at my parents who I was sitting with and being Greek said would you guys want loukoumades? I went as they were closing and they literally went in the back, made fresh dough and started making me my order. When I tell you these loukoumades are the real deal they are the real deal. The best loukoumades in the city. The owner was super friendly and I wish them all the best. Will definitely be back!

I have been here sooo many times now that they have my phone number saved at this point! The first time I tried their loukomades, it was for a family friend’s housewarming and everyone instantly became a fan. Everyone was reaching out for them even though we had other desserts. Since then, I have brought these to every gathering I go and their loukomades have never failed me. Paraskeve and Clinton are gem of a person. Whenever I go there, I see familiar faces( their regulars have become my regulars😅) which also tells me about the community they have built. They take their time to explain the flavour profiles and how to pair them up( ask for hidden menu flavour that are not on the board. My favourites are Nutella pistachio and butter believe it). They also have other Greek desserts, coffee, shakes and ice cream. Just placed a big order with them and excited for my friends and colleagues to try it.
P.S- If you are ordering on weekend, order in advance as they get super busy.

The food was delicious, especially the halloumi sandwich. The bread was delicious and the halloumi was caramelized and chewy and flavorful. The woman working here was very nice too, she ended up giving us free loukoumades! It was my first time trying them and I loved them, they were crunchy and sweet and warm. The prices were very reasonable too. I'd love to come back soon!

“We travel from NYC for 2 days and we had the most wonderful experience here! The freddo cappuccino was absolutely perfect—smooth, strong, and creamy with just the right froth. The loukoumades were heavenly—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and dripping with chocolate . But what truly made it special was the owner—so kind, warm, and welcoming, treating every guest like family. Delicious food, excellent coffee, and genuine hospitality… it felt like a little piece of Greece. I’ll definitely be coming back!”

Feels like back home village style with a warm atmosphere olive trees and a gorgeous bougainvillea flower that reminds me I'm in Greece/Cyprus
Love the way they serve their coffee with a bronze tray like back in Greece
Must try their brkfst menu with their fresh hot koulouria
I was shocked that they serve halloumi sandwich my favorite It's a Cypriot cheese God Bless Paraskevi and Clinton

Oh my goodness! I've walked past this spot so many times, and my teenage son urged me to go in with him and check it out. And boy, am I glad I did! Not only was the environment super cute, and it gave me a creek patio vibe. The loukoumades changed my life! Crispy warm, sweet deliciousness, and the price was very reasonable! I will most definitely be back! Already craving them!

Best iced lattes and loukoumades in the city. The owners are the sweetest people on earth, I wish this place was closer to me so I can come here every day. Parking is right in front of the store. The place is so beautiful, and it’s such an amazing place to sit and chat with friends.

AMAZING FOOD AND DRINKS!!!! Best in the city! I wish I lived closer to have their iced coffee every morning!!!!! I highly recommend. The atmosphere of the place is really nice as well, plenty of seating. Additionally, the owners are the SWEETEST people in the ENTIRE WORLD!
