Best selection of Monin and Torani syrups, concentrates and bases in Toronto, chai mixes, a fantastic and well priced selection of great blend and single-origin whole beans, plus a complete range of coffee & teamaking equipment, maintenance suppliers (grinder cleaner, descaler). I’ve been going here for over 4 years to buy my coffee. I would give this 5-star rating if it weren’t for how their pesky staff treats their customers. They simply don’t try to build relationships with their customers.
By that I mean they come to you as soon as you enter the shop to ask if you need any help. Coffee is not something like furniture, which is a once-in-a-blue-moon buying experience. I know my coffee. I’ve been going there for over 4 years. Their store layout hasn’t changed one bit in that time. It’s a pretty self guided experience. I’m usually in and out within 5 minutes. If they tried to recognize me and treat me like a loyal customer instead of an anonymous transaction, they would know this.
To be fair, they have had some thefts. But if you treat every person who enters like a shoplifter, then you’re going to tick off the customer. It rubs off the wrong way. If you can’t recognize customers, that’s a you-problem. You need to work on that.

Signage on windows for Beanwise indicate its an outlet store. It's definitely NOT an outlet. This is deceiving!. Prices and coffee cost more than regular priced premium coffee sold at the grocery store and its no better. Small clearance rack has some items for ok price but it's expired. Plastic Reusable k-cup costs 3x what amazon sells for. Staff is overly helpful to the point of pesky.No deals here.
