Went for take out, paid 18.00 for dull, boring and tasteless. No shrimp or any other raw fish. Just cold rice with vegetables and drizzled in sauce. Never again. Don’t waste your time or money, go to an authentic sushi restaurant even if it costs more.

yes the ramen and the udon noodles may have been more expensive than their downtown equivalent but these were very well done, with a broth that had a good layering of flavours, served quick and hot. Compared to other places at Pearson I would be pleased to eat here again - actually given the quick and friendly service and the fact that I really enjoyed my meal, I'd be happy to go back even if it were in downtown.

Was looking for some noodles and came across this shop. Price was overpriced at C$15.99 but thankfully it was tasty.

I love the peanuts that are free while you wait. the burgers are cooked perfectly with a nice soft white bun. fries seem expensive until you realize you get the cup and extras in the bag so just go for the small and share it. if you get a large, it will be wasted.

It is a chain of Sushi shops. This one in terminal 1 at Toronto Pearson Airport. The food is good, but mildly overpriced, but then again it is inside an airport.

I have stopped here several times for a box and a bowl of soup. It's largely cafeteria style, so think factory production. However, it is a nice spot for a change of pace on the pallet while traveling.

We had a Donbury Bowl. Description and pictures on the menu sounded appetizing enough...the first attempt was with salmon. Salmon really tasted awful, dry and tasteless. The lady at the counter told us that this is the way they do it...however she offered to exchange the salmon with chicken. The new bowl was even worst...the chicken really looked terrible and we could not eat it (see picture). The Chinese cabbage was “half dead” under the chicken with few pieces of carrots and dry rice. Cost: 15 Canadian Dollars. It should not be even legal to sell something like this....

The menu description of the Donburi Bowl sounded good enough...grilled chicken, steamed rice, mixed vegetables and a teriyaki glaze but the actually food was bland and boring. The chicken was almost tasteless, the mixed vegetables were a few small pieces of lettuce and an white unidentified vegetable, and the teriyaki glaze was a sauce squirted over the top. It looked bland and tasted the same. Not recommended.

I thought I would grab a quick bite to eat before a long overseas journey. Saw the picture of a bowl of soup and not a bad calorie count. So I got a simple bowl of Udon with chicken and veggies in it. $$$$$$16.94$$$$. Wow. The soup was not bad. The service ok. But the price.... go buy a banana next door for $2.00. I’m going to do a write up in it . Criminals and those doing time in federal institutions should consider leaving a life of crime and going into airport food services. Think of it as a lateral career move. You get to hold people hostage(after security), charge exorbitant amounts of money, and it’s all legal.

This place is never too busy and most of the time looks kind of empty or sad as the decorator was not very inspired at all. Lacks some colours, some life, some knick-knacks, some customers. The customer service people are the great asset to this place. They are nice, polite, young and eager to help as they don't have many clients. The food is good but not too much variety and really pricey as you can buy 1big bag of 10 lbs. potatoes for the price of a serving. While waiting for the food you can enjoy their peanuts, which is this restaurant biggest feature /attraction. The place in Leaside is well located but never crowded, need to diversify their food choices and to add something to make the place more homey. Find another decorator :-) buy some cheerful paint, change the furniture and diversify your food. More customers will come. Cheers!

Stopped here for a quick dinner on my way through the airport in October 2018. I asked for the Bento Box and the girl at the counter replied with a snarky attitude "We don't have those today, we have the Donburi bowls, they are the same thing". I'm quite sure they are not the same thing but I said "ok" and I ordered the Salmon Donburi. Never during the rest of this transaction did she look at me or acknowledge my existence even after I said thank you. The guy cooking the food then proceeded to wipe down various parts of the restaurant for 5 minutes, I assumed he was waiting for the food to cook or something. Then the girl snarled at him and said something along the lines of "we have orders". He continued cleaning, then eventually I could hear the girl at the counter bickering with another woman behind the counter about why he wouldn't stop cleaning and make the food. It was pretty awkward for me. Eventually he stopped cleaning and made my food. When he was done, he slammed it down on the counter and turned his back and kept cleaning. I asked the girl if that food was mine and she just replied "yes". Have to love that friendly Toronto attitude...Food was alright but a small bowl of rice with a small piece of salmon and a water was not worth $19.19 even by airport standards. Might be ok if you just pick up some of the already done Sushi and buy it, but I assume it is very overpriced. I would avoid this place.

We had a layover at YYZ and wanted to get something to eat. We have had several bad experiences with crappy food at outrageous prices at both Terminal One and Terminal Three. This seems to be the case at most airports. We stopped at Bento to get some noodle soup. Since the Udon noodles had not yet been prepared, the ramen noodles were the only alternative. My soup was to contain vegetables but came with mushrooms as well, which make me ill (they are a fungus - not a vegetable). When I explained that I did not want the mushrooms because I would be sick, the preparer started to fish them out of my bowl of soup. When I spoke with another employee, this stopped and I was prepared a fresh bowl of hot soup. With tax, no drinks, $36.14 for two bowls of soup. I appreciate that rent is expensive at Pearson Airport which means very average food is overpriced. This is the case at Bento Sushi.

They purposely only put in a tiny piece of ginger so that they can offer to sell you some for $2 dollars!!! Really? Shameful!!

One word: OVERRATED! Very EXPENSIVE and not worth the price! Yes, the burgers and fries were very tasty. If you order fries (you should), they seem to put in lots of extra fries in your take-out bag -- that's a nice touch. Unlike most fast-food places, the fries stay HOT for a very long time! The place is NOT peanut-allergy friendly, as there are barrels of peanuts in shells to munch on while you wait (a long time) for your order. So, be forewarned, allergy sufferers. Due to the way they load the actual burger, the bottom bun gets very soggy very fast. The cheese should ALWAYS be melted, in my opinion! It is NOT here -- that is a major flaw in my view. Soft drinks are unlimited, so order the "small" cup and don't waste your money on a larger size. I would go to this chain again, although sparingly, due to the high (and unwarranted) cost.
