I am seeing some negative reviews that should be for a different restaurant. Café Serano is just that a café. Amazing staff with awesome coffee. And when they see my service dog at the door to come they already know that the order is going to include one of their amazing huge and tasty sugar donuts. We do miss the maple bacon one though. Occasionally we will grab some watermelon gellato in the summer. Also her favorite. 8be been coming here close to 6 years now and have never had a bad experience. Keep up the amazing work and Freyja and I will see you again soon

I wish I could give zero star to this restaurant. I ordered mexican rice bowls through zomato and mentioned in the order to make it no spicy as it was already listed in the non spicy category. At first they cancelled my order without any explanation then when I called they asked me to reorder and assured over phone that they already told the chef to make it no spicy. Not at night when I have no cooked food at home for myself and kid, they send two boxes full with extremely spicy red chili powder covered biriyani rice. I could not even taste the food because of its above average spicy level . I called them and they unprofessionally hung up my phone after hearing the issue. Then they stopped receiving my calls. A newly opened business can't go on like this. I don't know the owner but this type of service will surely wrap up the business sooner or later!

Please do not eat here. We were there for dinner. In front of my eyes they kept away the leftover food of another customer and when they left, they served them the same food with some add ons. This was utterly disgusting and unacceptable. Beyond unhygienic and unethical! I lost my all appetite to eat there. Staffs are really weird! Extremely loud atmosphere. Never coming back!

I am allergic to milk (I get cold/flu symptoms) and explicitly always ask for oat milk when I order. I always check while ordering to make sure the additional charge was added.

There was no one ahead of me in line. I walked over to where the beverages are made. I watched the barista pour whole milk into a cup with ice and hazelnut syrup. I mentioned that I had ordered oat milk, not whole milk. He said, no you ordered whole milk. I mentioned I have an allergy to whole milk. Why would I do that to myself?

The right move here would have been to double check the order or confirm with the individual who just took my order 2 seconds ago.

He remade the drink. The anxiety I felt during this situation really took away from my experience.

Moving forward, if I come back, I am going to feel the need to be extra vigilant and watch my drink being made. I really shouldn’t have to do that. Allergies are not a joke and you’re charging me extra for having it. I would expect it to be made correctly the first time.

One of my favorite cafes ever. Has absolutely amazing baklava and sandwiches and donuts and bread and more. Great lattes too. Small space so can fill up on seating

Cafe Serrano, such take a great way to finish off the day. They must be making one of the best coffees in town. 2 minutes away from Laird Avenue.

Serano Cafe is an absolute treasure. If you're looking for incredible coffee, massive sandwiches packed with flavor, and a wonderfully friendly atmosphere, look no further.

What keeps me coming back is the perfect combination of quality and variety. Their selection of coffee, sandwiches, and fresh-baked breads is impressive, but I have to admit—I’ve found my forever order. Every single time I'm working in the area, I make a point to stop in for their turkey sandwich and a large coffee.

This sandwich is a masterpiece! It’s so generously sized and packed with so many fresh ingredients that it easily lasts me a whole meal. The combination is phenomenal: savory smoked turkey, tangy feta cheese, rich olive oil, and crisp, fresh vegetables all come together on their delicious bread. Every bite is a perfect mix of flavors and textures.

To top it all off, the staff is consistently super friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit a pleasure.

I cannot recommend Serano highly enough. It’s more than just a cafe; it’s a reliably fantastic experience. Do yourself a favor and visit!

Go there only if you want to be disrespected.
They will just throw the bloody pastries into a box and not in a serving plate before you and will say we are closing in 15 minutes.
Felt disrespectful, pastries are old, tasteless and stale.

I had such an amazing experience today at Cafe Serano because of Maria!! She was truly a ray of sunshine and was so welcoming! This was my first but definitely not my last time visiting and can’t wait to see Maria again! Really hope she gets all of the most amazing things life has to offer! ❤️❤️✨
