Only been here once. Don't plan on ever going back. The man behind the counter had 0 customer service and the whole energy inside the establishment is not the most warm or welcoming. Haven't tried the food so I have no opinion on it but after my first visit.. I wouldn't want to.

About as classic as you can get - order a burger, sit at the bar and have a beer while the guy behind the counter makes a homemade masterpiece of a burger. Have a chat with the locals and leave happy - this place has character and the burgers are really great, as are the fries. Yum!

This place is a staple to Dawes, if you live in the area you know. They have a banquet burger and I LOVEE it n their fries too are great. The place itself is a bit sketch if you haven’t been but the people are honestly sweet.Parking: Parking is shared lot in the back, front door is also on the back.
I usually come here when I just really needed to get out of the house and be surrounded by people. Usually I see regulars, sometimes there are people who moved away but love the place so they come back. The owner wife is Chines so I usually chitchat with her in Mandarine quite a bit, she comes in around 7pm or after, her husband takes care of the restaurant in the day time. There are always people come and go, very lively. I can get good conversations with the people there. I have to agree that the burgers are the best, marinated daily, fish and chips on Fridays after 7pm are 2nd best, then there are the chicken wings. I do think the chicken wings could be marinated more. If you happen to run out of alcohol in the middle of the night and want to get some, this place have cheap price, only draw back is that they only have cans or bottles, there is no running tap, otherwise I would have given more stars. I think there are about 5 booths or you can sit at the bar. I usually don't mind mingling at other tables as I'm there to socialize. As for the poutine, yes, it's just shredded cheese as the curds won't melt, but I still think it's good as the fries are nice and hot off the fryer.

The food is good but the service sucks. He let's too many crackheads in the restaurant and he only treats his friends good. He has zero people or customer service skills to run a restaurant. If he has more than one food order he gets very rude to the rest of his customers.
