Good burger joint that doesn't quite stack up to the best in Toronto. We ordered 2 cheeseburgers, cheesy waffle fries, and a chocolate banana milkshake which we got for free as part of their promotion. The promo made this meal have good value as they were offering a free milkshake with any cheeseburger purchase. The burgers were good but lacked a few things that would make them great. First, there was inconsistency in the cooking time as my girlfriend got a burger that was well done while mine was medium rare. Second, there was too much sauce that made the burger too messy to eat. Moreover the burger buns were too small which amplified this issue. Lastly, their main thing is having an egg in the burger which was good but would prefer it more runny. The other issue we had was with the milkshake which lacked flavour, freshness, and a creamy texture. Other than that the service was friendly and great, the decor is nice, and the waffle fries are exceptional. All in all a good burger joint but having Rudy open up in the same neighborhood may hurt them.

The burgers are tasty (maybe a bit saucy) and the rings are excellent, but I found the portion sizes and even some menu items to be quite variable. I realize this is a new venture and I'm hoping they can get to a consistent menu and product.

Very disappointing. 2oz burger was so small ( size of happy meal cheese burger) that my 8 years son finished in 3 bites. and very salty fries didn't look anything like Belgian fries.

My son and I went here for lunch. After ordering, we watched our food being cooked by one guy who pulled his mask down so it didn't cover his nose and another guy who's mask was down around his chin with his mouth and nose exposed. We ended up asking for our money back and left. Diners beware!

Before you go, please consider that it is very expensive, you pay $12+ per burger for a sandwich with patty that's smaller than 3inch in diameter, it is on par to a slider size. If that's the only issue, I wouldnt mind, since I ate at plenty of places with below average portion, but due to the small patty, it was extremely dry and unappetizing. They recently reduced their portion size, but I believe they forgot to reduce the cooking time to compensate that so all you get is a piece of overcooked meat. The small size isn't one burger, it was multiple burger all of this size, so we essentially paid 70 bucks for a total size smaller than a single burger at most places.

Not nearly as good as the hype I read online. 2 or 4 oz burgers get lost in the bun. Meat is definitely top shelf but too much salt and again you almost want to yank the tiny patty out of the bun just to taste the meat. As for the "Belgian" fries they were definitely not hand cut potatoes. They looked nothing like the picture online - more like McCain's krinkle cuts. A major letdown - Burger Priest has nothing to worry about here...

One of the tastier fried chicken burgers I have had over the years. Their burgers are reasonably priced for what you are getting. I will definitely go back again.

It was a hot Saturday afternoon and we were cruising the Bayview strip looking for a patio to get some quick eats. I'd remembered reading about Egg Bird, so I was excited to discover that there was a table available. I took a while deciding what to order, but I eventually settled on the Eggs Benedict Sandwich ("100% beef brisket patty, poached egg, EB hollandaise, lettuce, pickled red onions in a warm non - GMO Martin's Potato Bun"). I got that as a combo, which comes with fries and a soda. The food was brought to our table about 15 minutes later and it's good. I can't say anything especially blew me away, but I certainly enjoyed eating both the burger and fries. It was a few small problems that prevented it from becoming a stellar meal, though, with the sandwich suffering from an overcooked egg and an overall lack of seasoning. (The fries were decent, as was my dining companion's poutine.) I should also single out the service, as the employees were extremely friendly and efficient.

I had the Original Burger and Belgian Fries (take out) The fries were excellent - crispy (held up in take container for at least 5 min). Probably some of the best fresh-cut thicker fries I've ever had. The burger was a little cold by the time I ate it, but still was very tasty and the meat was good as well - both texture and beefy taste. I look forward to trying the fried chicken sandwiches soon.

My favorite burger place in Toronto! The taste is just amazing the meat quality from Cumbrae's (beef brisket) is top notch and you can tell that it’s been cooked to perfection. The Belgian fries tastes great, vanilla coconut shake completes the wholesome experience. It tends to get crowded in lunch hours and in the evening, the staff are very polite and attentive

Really good chicken burger. Belgian fries are also good as well. The service was a little slow and disorganized, which I am sure they will figure out as they have only been open for a few days. We ordered and sat on the patio, the Cashier/Server came out twice and asked us what we ordered before the food came. When it came, it was great, though the fries weren't that hot. When we went in to throw out the garbage, we were asked again what we ordered. The other tables were getting the same thing. They don't have frozen custard yet but I am looking forward to going back and trying that.
