Had the pleasure of dining here on the new managers grand opening! Service was top notch, food was delicious! Omelet was cooked perfectly with minimum oil!! Chef even checked in as I didn't finish my omelet to make sure it was cooked to my liking! Definitely will return to this restaurant.

Eggsmart on O'Connor drive and Donlands s is very convenient since it does have in front parking which makes it much less stress when starting off the morning.
The breakfast is always fresh and very tasty and is definitely satisfying and that's the beauty of it you always leave satisfied!
Eggsmart without the crazy prices that's some other places have in the area like BOCA Brunch totally overpriced! They also open much later then eggsmart. Don't waste your morning and just come here and enjoy the stress-free and easy pickup and head straight to work no fuss from us easy pleasy STRESS FREE!
The other thing is that you get a jump start in the morning since 8 smart opens up early as opposed to opening it up after 7:30 versus 5:30 in terms of comparing Boca brunch to a smart this is the place to come to for fresh food that hasn't been sitting around for a long time. Here you can expect always fresh made to order.
Enjoy starting your day with a smart located right at the corner of Donlands and O'Connor that is the north east corner.

This will be the last time I will be ordering from this place. As an avid Torontonian who has lived in the city for over the past decade, this has got to be the most disappointing experience I've had with a breakfast chain.
I ordered 5 takeout meals from this place but the whole order was a mess.
For the classic breakfast, the toast was included, however when I got to the park and opened the bag of toast, there was only one piece of toast folded in half, soggy, & disgusting. They also missed another order of toast that was included in my 5 orders.
Pancake was ordered but no syrup was put in the bag.
No utensils were given. How on earth does it make sense when ordering takeout no utensils are included?
When I called them back to follow-up I was met with them telling me I was wrong and that everything was placed in the bag, not taking any responsibility and accountability.
I would never go to this place again and I advise all people reading this review to reconsider.
Also, the health department should look into this place. If there was an option for 0 stars, I would give this place a 0.

Today I decide to treat myself with a delicious breakfast, I stop a this restaurant and order a “Keto breakfast” What a disappointment! First the eggs were so small that were from a small bird, then the bacon strips were so thin that look they cut in half and the portions of the fruit were 1 strawberry cut in 4 portions and 4 blueberries & nuts were old serve in a diminuta container. The total amount with the tax was over $20 CAD in which for the quantities and quality of the food was expensive. I question to the server and very rude reply that were the standards. The pictures that present on the menu are way too different. NEVER again they lost the whole family as a customer forever!

We came today at 2:25pm thinking we made right on time because the place closes at 3pm. But we were turned down saying it was “Takeout only” and that they had to wipe the floors , clean the tables. We insisted it’s only 2:25pm but they really really turned us down.
It never really used to be like this back in 2023/2024.. I remember walking in here around 3:30pm once when they used to be open until 4pm and eating happily!

Disappointing. I used to come to this restaurant with my wife almost every Saturday around 2pm in 2023 and 2024. The staffs used to be very welcoming.
Today we went there around 2:15 pm, the staff(chef) mentioned that the store is open only for take out. We told it’s mentioned as “open till 3 pm” in their doors and also in google, for which the staff had no answer . Finally, after a long pause, the chef mentioned that the tables needed to be cleaned - (lamest excuse ever). We still told we will wait until one table is cleaned so that we can be seated. Then he jumped the gun again to square one - “only take out”. We quickly decided not to spend a nano second more in the restaurant and left.
Thoroughly disappointing.
The 2 stars are only for my past good experiences

I recently visited this EggSmart location, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. I’ve been to other EggSmart restaurants before and always had a positive impression, but the quality here has declined significantly.
The food presentation looked careless and lacked attention to detail. The potatoes were extremely dry and felt like leftovers, and overall the meal did not taste fresh or well-prepared. Additionally, the water bottle we were given was greasy and dirty, with a visibly dirty cap — which raises serious concerns about hygiene and cleanliness.
Another issue was the service. We requested water at the beginning of our meal, but it was only brought near the end. We also waited a long time for the bill, and the staff seemed disorganized and inattentive throughout our visit.
Surprisingly, there was also a child running around the dining area and even going into the kitchen, which is both unprofessional and a potential safety and sanitation issue.
I used to enjoy EggSmart, but this experience was a major disappointment. This location has potential, but it clearly needs improvement in food quality, cleanliness, and staff training. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously, as guests deserve a better experience — especially when EggSmart is known for higher standards elsewhere.

We visited EggSmart today and unfortunately were very disappointed. This used to be one of our favorite places — about a year ago everything was great, but the quality has gone down significantly. 1. The potatoes were extremely dry and tasted like leftovers — completely inedible. 2. A child, who seemed to be with one of the employees, was running around the dining area and even going into the kitchen. This is unprofessional and also a safety concern. 3. The food quality has noticeably declined — it simply didn’t taste good anymore, as if the ingredients or the chef changed. 4. We asked for water at the beginning, but it was only brought near the end of our meal. 5. When the water was finally brought, the bottle was greasy and dirty, and the cap was almost black — this raises serious concerns about hygiene and sanitation. 6. It also took very long to receive the check. The staff appeared unorganized and untrained.
It’s really disappointing to see how much the quality has dropped. We hope management addresses the cleanliness, food quality, and staff training issues — otherwise, the restaurant will continue losing regular customers.

I would give this place a zero if it was possible. Me and my boyfriend came by to Eggsmart for a late breakfast/ lunch because I was craving to eat breakfast ( one of my pregnancy cravings). I live in the area and was like why not quickly go by and eat. I arrived at 2:30pm and was denied service because they were “closing”, mind you it states that they close at 3pm. 2 staff members ( a kitchen guy and a woman who looked like she could either be a server or host) were extremely rude and aggressive for no actual reason as I couldn’t believe that they were denying service 30 minutes before closing. When I asked if there was a manager card that I could contact the kitchen guy got even more aggressive and said you can just go online. The experience was overall about 5 minutes long but was the most awful 5 minutes filled with staff members literally ganging up on me. I was never a fan of Eggsmart to begin with as there are wayyy better breakfast places in the city, but just for connivence I wanted to give a try and when I say never again.. NEVER AGAIN. The worst hospitality and accommodation, and even if they couldn’t provide service due to “closing”; at least be kind about it. It’s extremely hard to believe that a place can stop taking service 30 -35 mins before closing and only do takeout. And if so at least state it on your door/ online that your hours of operation is until 2:30 pm and only will do takeout. I promise you there are wayyy better breakfast/ lunch spots in the city that will ensure you enjoy the food and overall experience and Eggsmart is definitely not that place. Save your money and time and go somewhere else that actual know what there doing !!!!!
