Hey Canada

Not sure what happened to this place!? I don’t come here often but came yesterday with my wife and we ordered chili chicken, beef with mixed vegetables and noodles and bowl of rice! Guess what? We got the food in 8-10 minutes, unusual! All food was not fresh except for noodles! I guess they heated the food in microwave! The taste of chili chicken, beef and vegetables not fresh and tasted old!!! Come in!!! It is Hakka food but heated not fresh!!!! Stay away from this place!! Out of fairness the lady who served us is very nice, I think her name is Teresa. Of note, I saw the response of the owner on previous comments!!!! Very arrogant and obviously doesn’t care about customers review!!!

The food is fantastic, no complaints there. But charging extra for condiments? That feels a bit odd. Peharps just include the cost in the price of the meal? It’s pretty frustrating to pay for food and then get hit with an extra $0.25 for a pack of vinegar as I’m about to leave.

Chilly chicken on rice is awesome. Also the chicken lollipop is the best. If you’re craving and missing hakka in Canada then this is the place.

Ordered the Manchurian Beef. It was no good at all. Meat seemed old and not fresh. We barely ate it but when we told the chef he argued with us. Food was expensive. Bad quality

Hakka Palace have been around since the 1990’s. Most of the time, I do take outs. I usually call it in and pickup about 20 minutes later. Don’t forget to ask for your pickup number at the time of order. Debit or Cash payment only.

This is the first time I dined in with my friends. This place is small and cozy. The lady that served us was very attentive and fast. She got it down to a science. She gave us water to drink and our cutleries while we waited for our food. The food came out quickly one by one for our party of four. We were done in less than an hour tops. I remembered our Server came over mid way through our meal with a pitcher of water just in case we needed it. She even gave us our take out containers before we asked for it which was nice as we were tight on timing. You know that crazy Lunch rush. There was a steady stream of customers including a Police Cop picking up his own food.

I ordered the Chilli Chicken (dry and mild) with white rice. Perfectly done to my liking. All my friends were happy with their orders too and packed all of their left overs home to eat later.

Parking: Limited parking during peak period.

Amazing restaurant with great tasting food and generous portions! My favourites include the hot and sour soup, chilli chicken, lollipop chicken, and manchurian beef! If getting takeout, combo B is great value.

Service was also great and made me feel so at home.

Occasionally they also have special menu items such as goat curry which was delicious!

If you want delicious and authentic hakka food don’t hesitate to go here. Hakka Palace is my go-to for both dining in and for take out!

This used to be a really good hakka spot. Up until the owners changed and the new management's food and service just does not feel right.

The food has a weird taste and smell to it and the service feels rushed.

I hope they can go back to how it was before.

Worst Hakka food ever . When dining in , they charge your .25 cents per chilli sauce . For customers bill, watch out as they add their own 10% surcharge without any notice displayed anywhere.
When making credit card payment they add surcharge of $2. Cheating customers all the time

Save your money and your health - do not go to this place ever

I've been coming here under previous managements for several years. The food is inconsistent but generally really good. It got one star cause I asked for a dry Manchurian. These cuisines are always "swimming" in sauce which no good for anyone. This meal was cover in a wet spice rub served raw over cooked chicken on white rice. So salty and probably packed with msg but such a super disaster. Not my order but 100% the cook. They would have replaced it but the inconvenience and also wanted me to pay for their mistake. Please be observant and take note of what you order and be mindful of this location is inconsistent.

Very mid food asked for noodles and chicken they filled the plate up with mostly chicken broth instead of chicken, you have to pay to eat dine in and honestly $20 is too much for the food your served. Replying to my reviews saying this isn’t your food, alr then why don’t the people seeing this review go and try it and tell me if I’m not 100% correct ???
