I tried the food here, he chirashi and couple of their onigiris, the onigiris was tasy and delicious, and the best in Toronto! I have been to Japan, probably the rice here does not stack up but the taste was great!

I hope they make more variety for their onigiris!

The service was amazing, the lady in front was helpful and friendly!

One of the best sushi spots!! Love the quality and food. Wish it was a sit in but still amazing for a takeout option. Definitely a gem 💎 in the Danforth area!

This was our first time. The sushi was amazing! We ate at the standing counter which was a lot of fun. Definitely coming back!

Our go-to place to order sushi on the east end, we love the all salmon platter and assorted veggie roll.

Hanamaru Market & Bento is an absolute gem! Their chirashi don is my favorite—fresh, beautifully arranged, and packed with high-quality sashimi. They also have the best triangle gimbap, perfect for a quick and delicious snack.

Beyond their amazing food, Hanamaru has an incredible selection of Asian snacks that’s hard to beat. Whether you’re looking for classic Japanese treats, unique chips, or hard-to-find goodies, this place has it all. The store is well-stocked, clean, and the staff are always friendly.

If you love Japanese and Korean food or just enjoy discovering new snacks, Hanamaru Market & Bento is a must-visit!

Cute little Japanese grocery and sushi counter - some of the best sushi I’ve ever had, no exaggeration. And one of the only places I’ve ever found vegetarian gyoza (Made in Canada!).

Really lovely people that run this place, and the food is amazing. Highly recommend the unagi don, their eel was the best that I've had in a while!

Their little grocery store is so cute and I love all the things you can get. You can get dinner for one day and prep for dinner all in the same place!

Parking around there is a nightmare though, and getting there can be difficult because of the construction happening on the Ontario Line

Love their bento! I've tried the Sake Don and Salmon Bento, and both of them are really good, not the best, but still top tier. Definitely 8/10 and 8.5/10 respectively. It's definitely worth trying. The sides in the bento is delicious, and the salmon is really fresh! However, the taste is pretty mid in my opinion. The place is a nice japanese/korean market, with a tiny table area. Most people do take outs, so it doesn't really matter. The prices of the items are somewhat expensive, but to be fair, they're the only asian market around the area.

The onigiri are amazing! Great place to stop for a yummy snack. With winter arriving I also picked up some miso paste for some warm hearty broth.

Very cute place, with thoughtful attention to my food order—when I mentioned I had a dairy allergy, they went above and beyond to make sure all the ingredients in the chirashi were dairy-free. The food was delicious, thank you so much!
