“Very friendly staff and absolutely INCREDIBLE food! We ordered the Momo Tikka Masala, among other dishes, and when the plate arrived, the aroma hit our nostrils and knocked us back in our seats. Then we took our first bite and transcended into another universe. I would drive multiple hours just to come back. HIGHLY recommend!!“

“I visited this popular Tibetan restaurant on a Saturday night. They only accept walk-ins, no reservations. We had to wait for 1 hour so be aware of the long wait times.

We ordered:
1. Yellow Laphing Dry with => Very unique and tasty dish. Crunch of WaiWai was also nice.
2. Veg => Hands down. One of the best Chowmein ever. Select mild spicy level. Their medium spicy level is too much.
3. Veg Sizzler with Szechuan sauce: 3/5 => Too oily. The Momos were bland in itself. With noodles, it was good.
4. Chilli Garlic => Very good. Large portions too.
5. Steamed Veg Momos with Manchurian sauce: 4/5 => Very good.
6. Family size platter: 4/5 => Good. Got half steamed and got pan fried. They were quite hot from inside. Pan fried were tastier.

All the items were so tasty. Except the sizzler, I totally loved all the items. I didn’t get any 5% discount to write this review. We asked them for mild spicy level which we found perfect for our tastebuds. Staff is nice and humble. The service could be faster. They accept credit card as well. I would recommend this Tibetan restaurant to everyone.“

“One of my friend recommended this place to me, and it turned out to be such a great decision to visit! The momo was absolutely incredible—honestly, I don’t even remember having momo this good back in Nepal. The chowmein was delicious, and the fried rice was equally amazing.
The service was outstanding too. The dai was so friendly and welcoming—he made us feel right at home, even though it was our first time there. He was super caring and attentive, making sure everything was perfect for us.
If I could rate this place 100 out of 100, I absolutely would! Highly recommended!“

“My first time having Nepalese food, and wow was that an error on my part. The food here is sooo tasty. It's spicy, well seasoned, and has big portions. It's a more upscale restaurant and the price will match that but it's worth it. So if you're in the area and don't know where to eat, come here and grab a mocktail and their amazing dishes.“

“This is my favourite restaurant! Everything I’ve tried on the menu has been so good. My favourite thing to order right now is the Tibetan Breakfast! It comes with two huge fry bread roti and an egg fried to your liking and a bunch of Aloo Dum potatoes and other dishes to eat with the roti. I cannot tell you how good this is!!! The pan fried beef momos are also incredible. I try new dishes whenever I go and it just keeps getting better!!!!“

“I visited yesterday (Monday) and it wasn’t busy. I tried both the veg and chicken momos. The chicken momos were really delicious, especially with their hot sauce, while the veg momos were decent. The service was a bit slow, but overall, it was a good experience.

This restaurant is located in Kensington Market, so expect it to be busy on weekends. You can park in a Green P or another public parking lot. The washrooms are downstairs and quite small.

“Can't recall any other place where tipping was so well deserved! Dev is very sweet and offers all varieties of meals which are tremendously yummy. Super reasonable pricing too! Call in advance to order, esp. if ordering steamed dishes. Traditional home made Nepali cuisine, 200% recommended ???“

“Sorry I can’t take all the photos because I was soo busy eating food. The food was flavorful, with the Thakali Khana and momos being highlights. The Samosa Chaat and Chicken Chilli were well-spiced, and the biryani was delicious. For dessert, the Gulab Jamun was too good, and the ice cream refreshing. Service was quick and friendly and everyone is so humble in there. Must visit place and taste like home❣️❣️“
