Always go there with my family ….but over the weekend…I receive the worst service ever and my jerk chicken seems like it was going bad, and my husband Ackee and saltfish had no flavor …..don’t think we coming back anytime soon….waste of money

Let me tell you….i am very very picky about my curry chicken roti and Island Spice Flava restaurant has the most delicious flavorful roti. They also don’t skimp and use potatoes as filler….there is literally chicken in every bite! I’ve been here like 5 or 6 times and it has been consistent and delicious. Also the staff is so friendly and love the no nonsense atmosphere. Always a stop for me when I’m visiting Toronto.

The Restaurant is a wonderful place to dine in for an authentic Caribbean experience, makes you feel like your not in Canada lol. The food is absolutely delicious and well presented and the staff are amazing very attentive and friendly. I had a great experience here and recommend it to everyone. 👍🏽

I went to this excellent Jamaican restaurant and had the oxtail and curry goat. Both dishes were excellent. The meat was soft, full of flavour, and cooked just right. The seasoning was rich and tasty, and the rice and peas went perfectly. The staff were friendly, and the place felt warm and welcoming. I will come back again for sure. Thank you to all staff.

Sista location of the one on Pitfield at Mccowan and 401, this location is so much bigger but they have the same quality food. Good brisket, albeit some parts of it are tough, the flavour is good. Good jerk chicken, soft and moist on the inside, the coleslaw and the rice and beans are good too. Excellent oxtail gravy. Friendly service. Even has a patio.

I stumbled upon this spot while craving some delicious island food, and I'm so glad I did! The food was amazing, and the service was top-notch - exceeded my expectations in every way! Huge kudos to the team for a fantastic experience, keep up the fantastic work!

Porting and food was good but ,I just realized when we ordered 2 plates of the jerk parmesan and we didn’t get our salad or bread. However when we walked in no greeting , there was a girl sitting down then a girl at the bar ..we had to ask for menus which were placed on the bar counter for us to pick up and find our seats. We came on a Saturday which states they close at 2am but were told at 12:47 I believe or 11:47 that they were closing in 10 minutes so we didn’t get to order our alcoholic drinks. Also felt like they need a more friendlier waitress, she was too focus on solely speaking to my man . Will come back based on food quality, but just take out.

So it’s my first time dining here with my family and I must say the food was awesome , we had brown stew snapper, oxtail and lamb chops served with rice & peas and garlic potatoes. Hence must say the garlic potatoes was perfect! The coleslaw was creamy and nice. The ambiance is top tier. We will definitely be back. The chef lady Monique was so kind to us we had to meet the person behind this delicious meal and the server Victoria thanks for our drinks.

Absolutely amazing Caribbean food packed with spice and flavour. I especially love their BBQ jerk and BBQ fried chicken. This is an East York must!
