Breakfast sando was great, and as far as I can see all the other food offerings are good. Coffee was not good. I have been here half a dozen times, and the milk is always oversteamed and almost burnt. The espresso itself tastes mediocre. As far as the service, it is weak and clumsy. What other choice do I have with Starbucks as the only other choice for coffee in the neighborhood. Can’t always make the jaunt to Mt Pleasant for a better espresso.

Excellent coffee
Really, really lovely staff; professional, friendly, positive and helpful every single time I go in. The coffee is excellent, no matter what you get - and the baked goods (at least, the ones I've tried) are delish! A lovely little cafe in the neighborhood <3
Vegetarian options: Thumbs up!
Dietary restrictions: Vegan and vegetarian options.
Wheelchair accessibility: I have seen people who use wheelchairs go in and come out of the cafe; they have needed help with the door, however.

Fantastic coffee. The barista was very pleasant. Great interiors - esp the huge marble top dinning table. They have a little sidewalk patio as well. Washrooms are not accessible ( downstairs)
They sell two bears coffee, sandwiches, baked goods, fizzy water.
We had Americanos and they were amazing. Must try.

The moment I walked into Lit for the first time , just before Christmas last year, I was met with a feeling best described as comfort. The room itself, with it’s beautiful marble communal table, the scent of freshly baked brownies and the smiles on the faces of the baristas, made me realize that I would be spending a lot of time in this place. And I have. You will find me in my ‘office’ pretty much daily. Lit has become my happy place. The staff is magnificent and I compliment Parm often on the skill of his hiring practices.
I have learned much of the traditions, culture and foods of the many countries that the employees call home. It’s difficult to recognize all of the awesome people I have met there but I have to mention Mahtab, Tara, Maz - now on a new adventure in Vancouver, Olivia, Claire and the best baker in town Catherine. I love this place and I know you will as well.
Oh, forgot to mention, the coffee’s pretty good too ‼️

I've popped in here a couple of times. It's a cute little coffee shop to sit or to go. They have really good veggie breakfast sandwiches with a little kick of siracha mayo. They have egg, tomato and arugula on a biscuit. I actually prefer them to the meat ones which are just bacon and egg.

Ordered the daily brew. Was bitter and tasted like it was there a while. Brought it back telling them that and they poured themselves a bit and stated it wasn’t bitter and it was fine. Do not know their coffee
great place for working

Lovely local coffee spot, and I am happy to support something other than the big coffee chains. Only issue is that I loved having the app to pre-order so I can grab my coffee without tying up my dog for too long. Any chance you can bring back the app?

If you’re looking for a perfect coffee, this is the right place to go.
Cozy environment, well trained staff, best owner and manager that I’ve ever seen.
They have this existing tag, that you can collect your points every time you order and receive discount.
Also, they have the most delicious sandwiches and paninis.
Definitely better than Starbucks & Tim Hortons.

Staff are friendly. Good atmosphere. They need work on their vanilla lattes and espressos are mediocre. But not bad...
I’ve always found Lit Espresso to be extremely comfortable .. not sure how they pull that off.
The service exemplary … warm and welcoming , yet feels sincere, no matter how busy they are.
The desserts seen to be baked on the premises and are fresh and delicious.
The only drawback is they often run out of their yummy sandwiches ( I typically arrive there towards the latter part if the afternoon)
It’s become my home away from home for good reason. My family and friends seem to feel the same way that I do.
And the coffee .. is perfect ..
Vegetarian options: Nope I’m done.
Mostly order a non vegetarian option .
Turkey sandwich with a lower fat latte.
And banana bread with chocolate chips .. the freshest and made on the premises I believe .
Everything is always fresh in my experience .
