Have been going there on and off for many years. Last few years the sauce has become over- salted and the prices have become a bit too high. Have always found the staff to be great.
I can't believe I have been living in East York for 13 years and did not know this place existed. It is SO amazing. My husband and I shared the seafood risotto, the penne vodka, and the veal. We fell in love with the food and the service that we will visit regularly from now on. What a jewel in our neighborhood! Incredible prices for the city, too! Our left overs will last us for two more meals.
Delightful dinner service! The food was fantastic, DO NOT miss out on those mussels ? attention to detail was great, from the separately dressed greens + toppings and cold salad plate, to the presentation.Perfect portion sizes, good service, delicious taste and for a good price
We had a party of 12 try out this beautiful restaurant last night and it did not disappoint! We all had apps to start and everyone had nothing but compliments. Fresh ingredients, obviously the chef knows what people want because he cut no corners. Our main courses were unbelievably flavourful and the portions are massive. If your looking for a real meal and a great restaurant, this is by far the best I’ve had in years. We’ll definitely be back soon and I highly recommend trying Paul’s Spaghetti House, you can thank me later ??
My girlfriend and I have been to Paul's many times after first stumbling across it on a walk one day back from the Don Valley trailhead. We've brought both friends and family to the restaurant, celebrated birthdays here, and everyone agrees it is one of the best Italian spots in the city. When you come to Paul's you can expect warm, freshly baked bread, a side salad of your choice, and of course a phenomenal selection of homemade pastas. Everything we've tried on the menu has been incredible, and service is consistently great. We're already looking forward to our next visit - if you do come to Paul's, don't forget to try the lemon cake!
The sea bass. The gnocchi. Do I need to say anything about the meatballs? Let's be honest - you come here because you want a meal that feels and reminds you that Nona loves you. Have the cake - you need that comforting taste of home. Anyone can do fancy, trendy mochi whatever. I want authentic flavours and family sizes portions.
I think I may only have enjoyed the meal because I was especially hungry… the pasta sauce used in the meatball dish was more acidic in comparison to other tomato sauce dishes I’ve had elsewhere. Enjoyed the ambience though and moderately priced. Will likely be back to try another item on the menu
Amazing Italian cuisine in the middle of Rast York. Food, service, Ambience and location is superb. Will definitely be returning. Quite and small . Not many tables. Great place to impress a date. (I would imagine)
Paul's Spaghetti is a pretty good Italian restaurant. Traditional offerings like lasagna and a dozen or more pasta/sauce combos. All healthy portions served with veg sides and salad.I've tried a variety of their daily specials over the years and not once disappointed. Appetizers should be shared of reserved for the very hungry diner, as you might end up over ordering as we discovered on our first visit.Paul's signature tomato sauce is maybe not my favorite but you decide for yourself.Nothing avant garde or outside the box here, but nice flavours, predictable and friendly.
wow! the food is so flavourful.

Located in the middle of nowhere on the north side of Cosburn Ave. The lasagna is cheesy and has great tomato sauce. Loved it. For desert, you have to try either the in-house baked chocolate or lemon cake. My favourite is the lemon cake. Well worth a visit, loved it. Service could be a tad quicker. Very little parking or take the 87 Bus out of Broadview Station.
Hidden secret of Toronto. One of the best pasta spots in Toronto. Chopped clams linguine is out of the world! The chef is a magician.
We keep trying to come back to Paul's Spaghetti because 20 years ago the place was great, friendly, and delicious. But then the staff got rude and stayed that way so my whole street stopped going. The last 3 times we tried to go back not much has improved. The staff are curt and what could be delicious food is now so salty that it's barely edible. At least they're consistent but not in a good way
Those in the know, know this place and love it. A neighbourhood gem that keeps delivering tasty food made with loving care over and over. Just go. You won’t be disappointed.
Cozy home cooking, friendly staff, delicious comfort food. We’ve been here multiple times now, and it is always delicious. Pasta is always fresh and flavourful, grilled shrimp are perfectly done, so is the sausage. The spaghetti is of course fantastic - homemade, hearty and fresh. The lasagna another favourite. They have a good variety of pasta options on a menu that is just the right number of items. The specials are always interesting and tasty. And the cake for dessert is the only way to end your meal (chocolate, vanilla or lemon - I’m a fan of the chocolate).Good selection of wine and beer as well. This place has been around for years and that’s because they are doing it right. Can’t wait to go back again for dinner!
