1st time I went here they gave me stale pastries...I gave them benefit of the doubt and went back 2 more times..both times the food was sub-par...it seems they over produce product and are happy to serve stale food just to get it out the door.

Very disappointing experience. I ordered a cake for my daughter’s birthday, and unfortunately, it was not fresh and tasted bad. This completely ruined what was supposed to be a special celebration for her.
When it comes to important occasions like a child’s birthday, quality really matters. Sadly, this was not the experience we expected. I hope the business takes this feedback seriously and improves.

Select Bakery is a fantastic family run bakery and market in East York. They carry traditional Greek pastries and desserts that are old school and modern. The traditional pitas are incredible we had numerous kinds one our last visit in store. We stocked up on hard to find cheeses and goodies to bring back to BC such as hard to find Greek spirits and wines.
Our own Grandpa Js Seasoning are stocked in store. A must try is Greko Lemon for delicious Greek flavour at home. As Canadian women owned business from Vancouver we appreciate Select Bakery for supporting small business and stocking our products in store.
Try the koulouri, horiatiki pita and a fredo cappuccino next time.

I came here for the first time after driving many times past and I wanted to see the inside. I was greeted warmly by staff who gave me great options to try for my first time. A very nice bakery to have a coffee and treat. Their village bread was also very tasty. I hope to come back soon and try their other baked goods and deli assortments.

I will give them only Two Stars . Sorry but I live in this Neighborhood for over 30 years and we Drive to Pape for Greek Sweets and Pastries ‘ ! Select “” bakery used to be good years ago the old Management was good . Now the Service and the Atmosphere and the Attitude of the People are just bad ! Lazy Service and inaccurate Orders few times already and Inattentive too , we Told the Owner he is Blaming us why .Few Times already ! Gave them so many Chances ….but no more . Stay away !
