I used to come here fairly regularly and the food was amazing. Came back today after a long time and unfortunately the quality of the food is terrible. The ribs were completely burnt and I was told that's how bbq is. The ribs also had an odd smell to them and the samosas were very bland. Really sad to see one of my favourite places in the city go down in quality.

incredible beef mishkaki - i’ve never tried it before coming to this restaurant, but they’ve created a craving in me for it! wouldn’t recommend the salad as it’s just veggies w no sauce, just ask for extra fries instead. i can’t wait to come back again, i’ve already been suggesting it to all my friends!

My first time having East African food and it was INCREDIBLE. Everything was piping hot, freshly made to order and delicious. All of this food (minus the 3rd picture of the mogos which we paid extra to substitute a different flavour… worth it tbh) was part of the Simba platter for 2 deal. It was a huge portion and we took most of it home. The sauces are all incredible and a must-try. The owners are lovely and welcoming - I am definitely coming back!

Simba Grill has been our spot for more than over 30 yrs since the original owners were there till today. It brings back the memories of being with Late Sultan Uncle and Reshma Aunty- they were more than family to us. The food is a reminder of back home from East Africa and Zanzibar ❤️
