What a great experience. We went to this restaurant out of curiosity and ended up meeting some amazing people—the owner from India, the cook from South Africa, and a helper from Afghanistan. The food was really good, but the service is what stood out and made us feel genuinely welcome. If you’re looking for something different from the usual restaurant outing, this place is worth a visit. Thank you Simba Grill for the great food and for opening our eyes to the people and cultures that make this city home.

I was very disappointed. It’s more of an Indian restaurant. The ugali was pathetic. The chapatis were actual rotis. I don’t recommend this for anyone looking for African food.

I used to come here fairly regularly and the food was amazing. Came back today after a long time and unfortunately the quality of the food is terrible. The ribs were completely burnt and I was told that's how bbq is. The ribs also had an odd smell to them and the samosas were very bland. Really sad to see one of my favourite places in the city go down in quality.
