If you dream of exceptional sushi (and sashimi) you must dine here. And then, you will likely never want to eat sushi anywhere else in Toronto.

We came to Sushi by K on Friday evening for dinner. We got the Torched salmon, Green dragon and Mutsu Oshi rolls. The Torched Salmon was good and so was the Green dragon roll, but the Mustsu Oshi tasted like the eel sauce and had no flavour of butterfish at all. I'm not sure if they forgot to include it in the mix but the roll only tasted like rice and sauce. It wasn't too our liking at all. I forgot to take a picture of the Mustsu Oshi roll so I've attached one from their website. The food was good but nothing amazing, so for the price I felt like it wasn't worth it. After spending $35 per person for the meal, my partner wasn't full, so I don't feel like it's worth the price to be honest.
The staff are polite and friendly. However when it came to check out I had a negative experience. I went to the front to pay because my baby was tired and we needed to head out. I was asked to take a seat and the staff would come to see to the payment at my table. I waited and waited and no one came for 10 mins. I saw the staff member on the phone and she was taking a phone order. I don't understand why she didn't just perform my payment transaction while I was at the counter instead of making me wait and then take another order in the meantime. I was made to wait 20 mins in total while my baby was crying in the car. My partner had taken him outside to make sure the restaurant environment wasn't noisy for other customers.
Parking is a bit hard to find. We parked at the Canadian Tire across the street and walked over.

I ordered the pressed salmon sushi and hat trick (spicy salmon and avocado, topped with fresh and torched salmon). Surprisingly, hat trick tasted bland and I wouldn't order it again. However, the pressed salmon sushi was delicious.
Custom service was bad. The waitresses kept pressuring my friends and I to order more (dessert, etc.) and they kept reminding us that we would have to leave soon, even though there was an hour left before closing.

My friend I went there for dinner today, and the food was absolutely fresh and delicious! We had sushi dinner and moriawase dinner, and they were both astonishingly good. The servers were super nice and friendly, and the mood of the restaurant was fancy and cozy as well. A huge thanks to the chefs for delivering amazing experience at Sushi by K :))

Always seems like the freshest and best prepared fish. Honestly incredible, great attention to detail, these guys ruined ayce sushi for me because the quality of the food is just so much better. Very friendly with great takeout/delivery, too. Highly recommend the salmon dinner if you’re a big salmon sushi person, best salmon sushi/sashimi I’ve had
Excellent food and is just slightly more expensive than your average sushi. The service is good as well. A good place for union. Biggest table can sit 4. Also a cash discount.

Have been twice now and would recommend. And would return. Went for lunch. Food is as expected. Nothing outstanding but also ordered simple items. Service was OK. Better guidance with ordering and more flexibility with options/ changes would be ideal.
