This is a mom and pop type family restaurant. Old George still does his own cooking. Friday night he has a Prime rib buffet type all you can eat with delicious prime rib, mashed potatoes , he has roast potatoes but I'm not keen on whatever the flavor is. Buffet also has his hand breaded fresh perch, yumm, Cabbage rolls, the dessert is his famous black forest cake. My family and I went here for the first time for breakfast and it was amazing. Food was great and service was superb. George say down and chatted a bit with us as well, great family run place. Will be back.

First time in Elliot Lake. A few folks recommended George's for dinner on Friday night. We ordered the souvlaki dinners. Generous portions; each bite delicious. Our server Nicole made our evening perfect! She was so welcoming and friendly. Nicole was courteous, attentive and very hardworking! The icing on the cake was meeting "the man".....George. He was so sweet and kind to us as we said our goodbyes. I hope to be back again - for the food, and George and Nicole!
