The Wild Tart Reviews
Returned after 6 month and we were disappointed to say the least. Chose the wild tart breakfast and it came cold after almost an hour waiting. Meal was remade and the potatoes came cold again and it took 15 minutes to make eggs, bacon and potatoes. As you can guess this will be my last time. In addition the restaurant was filthy. Walls had brown spots on them in multiple places perhaps coffee? Not sure but a wet cloth would help. The chandelier was covered in cobwebs and...read full review
It was a special event booked via reservation and much anticipated. Upon arriving for our booked time the hostess was less than welcoming, the table we were shown to still needed to be cleaned, we waiting for 20 min to have water, our order taken only to have one of the 3 items on the menu....we waited 50 min for our food.....thankfully another server came and asked if we needed anything-she was very helpful with our tea pots refilled, water refilled and asked us how we were....read full review

The Wild Tart is a charming patisserie known for its delicious food, beautiful decor, and exceptional service. The high tea and savory tea options remain popular, with guests praising the quality of the dishes. Visitors often enjoy the Niagara tea, which is very sweet, and the caramel tea, both adding to the delightful experience. The afternoon tea is generous, offering more than enough food, though some recent guests found the portions to be sparse and the experience somewhat frustrating, especially when smaller items like scones came with no jam, butter, or clotted cream. Service can sometimes be slow; for example, milk and specific dietary requests such as gluten-free options may require advance notice, as staff might not be prepared for last-minute changes. Despite some mixed reviews, the restaurant is highly recommended for special occasions like birthdays and remains a favorite for brunch and other meals. Whether for private catering or a cozy visit, The Wild Tart continues to impress with its attention to detail and professionalism, even as it navigates occasional service hiccups.
