“I had such a wonderful experience at high tea at Maddie Hatter today. Everything was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and the atmosphere was so elegant and relaxing. Thank you for such a memorable afternoon!”
Absolutely amazing! My mom and daughters and I love trying out different tea rooms and high tea. This place was magical, and has now outranked our previous favorite to become our 1st choice. The array of options on our high tea tier tray was surprising - taste, visual display, creativity, and options 💯
In additon, our server was wonderful - friendly, professional & proficient.
10/10 experience!

My wife has been here 3x and this is my second visit. We are from Toronto. We don't know anyone in Erin. We don't know much about the area but we know this place and it is the reason why we have returned to Erin.
I'm not a tea guy but they have many other options for beverages. Good coffee and they can jazz it up for a Spanish one too.
The food is fresh and fantastic. Both times I had French onion soup and the Shepard's pie. It is that damn good. My first visit was February 2025 and second was today in March 2026. Presentation is great. Having recently discovered Tournament of Champions, I've become a little more aware of such a thing as presentation. And the service was all one could expect. Thank you Melissa for making our most recent visit a great experience with your upbeat, positive attitude. It was like chatting with a friend we hadn't seen in a while. My wife is sorry for breaking that glass her Pink Flamingo came in. What's the alcohol content in that prosecco? Haha!
The atmosphere/decor is cool. We are a bit of comic/fantasy geeks so this Alice in Wonderland stuff is very appealing to us.
I'm not sure when we will return to the area but Maddie Hatter will definitely be a big draw to lure us back. Perhaps I should research nature trails nearby as we are avid bird watchers too. Any suggestions?

Wonderful experience here! I had an issue with my reservation (my fault) and they were very accommodating. Both staff were warm and friendly, the service was fantastic and we had a lovely conversation with Melissa. I know I will be back!

Absolutely stellar visit today! Our server was the best. We loved her.
Great personality.
We had a family girls day out celebrating birthdays. Birthdays past, birthdays now and birthdays to come in September. Thank you Maddie Hatter for your exceptional service and excellent food. The portions were very generous. The homemade soup was delish. I loved the fresh scones with jam and home-made devon cream. The
tea selection is huge...so many to choose from. I also had a cup of fresh decaf coffee. It was velvety smooth. We were one very happy family. Happy Heavenly Birthday Mom.

Absolutely amazing. Our server was so fantastic. We loved her! The food was delicious. Great portions. So much to choose from for food, tea and desserts. The coffee was excellent too! The afternoon tea portions were so generous. So many things to try. We loved the soup as well. It was a wonderful day celebrating birthdays past, present and future. Thank you Maddie Hatter! We are already planning our next visit
The high tea was delightful, very generous amount of tea and treats! This cozy cafe is the best spot in the area for afternoon tea or lunch.

Such a cute experience! Quiant, and quiet little place, very on theme, food is delightful, and tea selection is great! Something for everyone. Can't wait to come back
Cute little spot for afternoon tea. Thought it was a little bit expensive for what you got considering its in Erin but overall the portions were tasty and generous such that we ended up taking 2 of the deserts home for later. The only thing we really didn't care for was the Dubai chocolate dessert as it was far too sweet.

This was such a lovely find. You walk in and it is like going through the looking glass. Tea cups line walls and shelves and add to the whimsical atmosphere. The food was AMAZING! They do a generous high tea and they have delicious gluten-free options on the menu. Service was delightful and I highly recommend if u are looking for a unique and lovely place to lunch!

Such a magical little place. We had high tea, and we all set with hats, drank a variety of teas and eat finger sandwiches and cakes. A perfect family day out, totally worth an hour's drive from Toronto.
And thanks to our great host we recommending more activities.

MELISSA, Kim and staff gave my mom a wonderful birthday high tea. The spread was fresh and plentiful! The cauliflower soup was amazing....the scones and tea were perfection. Thank you...we will return.
Melissa was lovely and we had an excellent experience as two adults and one child. The try on hats were such a hit with our four-year-old! Thank you for the yummy tea, beautiful tea sets, and lovely shop!
